Ever heard the phrase "hate is a strong word"?

Well I believe that for a despicable application such as this, it is not strong enough. I have spent countless nights sleepless all due to this. LanguageNut. I've had to use this website for an awful 3-4 years. Every assignment that I have clicked on has brought me nothing short of agony and despair. With soulless voices for their "listening" tasks and a 10 hour wait time for each assignment to load it is impossible to not feel depressed after using it. I haven't had a week where I haven't been set work on this disgraceful site and returned 10x more drained from the actual lesson prior.

To put it frankly, I would much rather spend 10 hours alone, without any basic survival needs in the savannah surrounded by hungry lions than complete 1 assignment on LanguageNut (let alone the 36 that I've just been assigned)!

If you're an aspiring teacher looking to use this website, or a teacher exploring new resources, turn back - now. Unless you want to have the entirety of the class to loathe you (then be my guest). Otherwise run and do not come back.

"This is the cringiest software I ever used."

This software is the pure definition of cringe. The Home Screen is so outdated and it uses free sourced AI voices. Moreover, it forces me to type something specifically on a super dodgy keyboard. It should also speak the correct answer when you get something wrong unlike moving you on and doing nothing.

When I was playing a LanguageNut game, I got the answer wrong. It played the “womp womp” trumpet sound which absolutely cringed me out, waited 20 seconds before moving onto the next question.

Overall, I highly recommend you don’t get this software as it is just a bunch of free tools put together and getting charged a fee to use it.

How is this a language learning app. I would rather learn French from a parrot owned by Louis the XVI.

I have been using language nut to help my daughter through her school work. The system is laggy and the writing practice quizes are not practical for very early beginnners. Practice bubble quiz says the sentence so fast that you just end up matching the bubbles by listening out to common words like Eiffel tower, segway, restaurant etc. There should be options of making sentences and practicing speaking.
