"Absolutely appalling."

To put it simply, it's horrible. The user interface is really buggy, certain activities only work on certain devices, the general app is laggy. Let's say you accidently put a 'g' in the middle of a word, it marks it as wrong, now I get this but it could easily be fixed with a dispute mark button. It will say 'Lit' and I have to translate it, I put '
Bed' and it say's I should've put 'A Bed' even though there is no 'un' in front of it. Absolutely appalling.

"Teaches wrong German "

The web Quiz is frustrating and teaches wrong German, eg as translation for “dog” (no further explanation) only accepts literally “einen Hund (-e)”, randomly with or without hyphen. Many other examples, as an adult German native speaker I can’t even guess the answers. Absolutely awful.

"I hate language nut"

I don’t know where to even start with LanguageNut… but let’s just say this app has been nothing short of a disaster for me. After trying to use it for my language learning, I honestly feel like throwing my Chromebook out the window. It’s that bad.

First of all, the interface is a mess. The layout is confusing and cluttered, making it impossible to find what I need. Half the time, the buttons don’t even work properly, so I end up clicking on the same thing ten times before it finally registers. It’s infuriating. Every time I think I’ve figured it out, the app throws another curveball, making me feel like I’m in an endless loop of frustration.

And the lessons? Don’t even get me started. They’re boring, repetitive, and feel like they were designed by someone who’s never actually tried to teach a language. It’s all basic stuff that you learn in the first five minutes of any language app, and the constant forced quizzes make me want to rip my hair out. If I see the same word being flashed at me for the hundredth time, I’m going to scream.

But wait, there’s more! The audio is glitchy and cuts out constantly. Sometimes, the voice sounds like it’s underwater or distorted, and other times, it’s completely silent. How am I supposed to learn pronunciation when I can’t even hear the words properly?! I’ve spent more time refreshing the page and rebooting my computer than actually learning anything.

In short, LanguageNut has made me actively hate learning a language. The frustration I feel every time I try to use it is unreal. I’ve never been this close to smashing my Chromebook in my life. If you value your sanity and your tech, DO NOT use this app. It’s a nightmare wrapped in a broken user interface.

If I could give it zero stars, I absolutely would. Avoid at all costs.

"An honest review of languagenut"

Languagenut is actually so bad. I'm not going to make a troll review like the others.

First of, when the people say the word or sound when you press on the button, it's so quite. You can't hear a word they are saying and it is pronounced wrong and you get it incorrect.

Second of all, it's really sensitive. Like if you get an accent wrong or misspelt the word by one letter, it's incorrect.

The website is really buggy. For example, every week or two the website just doesn't load. I nearly got a detention because I couldn't do the homework, because the website is not maintained properly and just sticks the the loading screen which feels like forever. I also tried other apps and websites, and they were fully functional.

Finally, it doesn't help that the context is really bad, no one can put an answer in without gambling because it may be the 'wrong word' even though it means the same thing.

Languagenut, YOU NEED TO DO BETTER.

I have downloaded language nut 12/5/2010. I have never been the same. Every night I have the same exact dream of the horrid nutty nut from language nut saying Spanish and french. Every night I wake up the same. Crying. Most of the time I can't even understand English anymore it's just "hola coma esta tu dia" I don't want it to be that. How do I change this. I guess I can't. I'm too far down this nutty path. All I can do is warn
you not to download language nut if you don't want a life like mine. A life of fear and entrapment and suffering from the oiled up nutty nut. You have been warned. Save yourselves. And while your at it, could you save me too?

"Does Not Work!!"

Takes ages to load in the latest update and half the time doesn't even load... basically doesn't function .

"Absolutely shocking experience"

Absolutely shocking experience. As a student who doesn’t mind doing homework, Languagenut made me hate doing Spanish homework. First of all it needs to fix its keyboard as it’s dodgy and laggy, second of all they need to fix the writing tasks as they are case sensitive! This is an absolutely shocking waste of my parents tax money that goes to schools to pay for this crap.

I am a classroom French teacher who has been using Languagenut for the last three months. Immediately after our two-week free trial, I knew we had to get it for our school in both French and Spanish. To say I am happy with the platform is an understatement. Languagenut facilitates language learning and allows students to practice, interact, and access languages on one easy-to-use platform. For me, Languagenut has replaced Kahoot, Gimkit, Blooket, Quizlet, Quizizz, Quia, and others). GIVE IT A TRY...!!!
