As a Head of Languages I am incredibly impressed by the platform and customer service provided by languagenut. It allows teachers to set effective homework in a timely manner and to check students understanding. It has reduced workload for my department significantly and has guided independent revision. Our students who were most active on languagenut, achieved grades 8/9 in their GCSEs.

The customer service team are incredible and are always happy to help. They take any suggestions onboard and respond and act promptly when I email.

I would truly recommend langaugenut to any language department!

It's fine- sometimes.

But other times, it's ridiculous. I just had an exercise where it asked me the same word 2 times, but didn't tell me which version, so I put the wrong version and got it wrong, even though it's right. This ruined my 100% mark. Fix this, Languagenut, don't just expect me to read your mind and somehow know which version of the word you're talking about! D:<

Our school district no longer allows use of Duolingo because of the privacy agreement not being signed by that platform with our school district. I was searching madly last summer for a substitute for Duolingo which my students loved doing when they had extra time in class, or for homework. I stumbled upon this digital platform. I quickly got all 6 of my 6-8 grade French and Spanish classes up and running the first chance I had in September. They love it! My students love the games, they especially love the partner games, the speaking and the listening. They engage eagerly in the LIVE games, and now the school-wide competitions. The customer support is efficient and exactly what I need as a frazzled middle school teacher of 30 years. My students love coming to my classes because they are fun. Now with Languagenut, they not only play with the language but have another fun language learning activity to look forward to when they enter my community of learners each day. I love this platform!

It's somehow more case-sensitive then just about any programming language i've ever used

It looks crap aesthetically

It is incredibly unclear such as dictation where it doesn't state which language to write your answer in, and will tell you are wrong without saying what you got wrong (this was after i checked with 2 language teachers who both told me i gave the correct answer)

it spends way too long between questions on the quiz once you've answered

And finally the name, what the hell was the person who chose that thinking, "ahh yes languagenuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut!"

Terrible layout for neurodivergent children. My son is autistic and gets very distressed with the assessments as he has to try and chase a bubble whilst trying to figure out what the correct number/word/phrase is.

It is saying that i typed the same word twice although i have not. pls delete this stupid website that does not work and function properly. This goddamn app is bad for learning languages and none of my friends has learnt anything useful. I DO NOT recommend this website for learning languages as this website will make you mentally unstable.
