This used to be a great product, but the new ownership is a disaster. The supplements are worse than before (lower EPA and DHA) and cost more. My orders have been inexplicably canceled, altered, delayed, and consistently messed up. With my most recent order, I literally had to call 1-800 Flowers five different times to get their people to correct the order that they kept messing up. I finally just canceled all orders, and I will be going with another vendor. 1800flowers is an absolutely horrible company that has gutted this once great company. I advise avoiding this company at all costs.

"Waited 5 months for order. Now they won't refund my money."
In the summer 2024 I ordered fish and salmon oil. It took a long time to arrive and the fish came eventually but without warning and no updated tracking. The salmon oil came a month late. Aug 2024 I reordered the salmon oil thinking it would take a month to arrive. January 2025 it still hasn't arrived and they changed my estimated arrival at the date for the fourth time. The most recent ETA was February 1, 2025. I just found out that they canceled my order January 1st but did not refund me. They claimed they already did refund me via PayPal. They are trying to keep $125 and that just stinks. I'm getting the runaround from the company. They can't prove have they refunded me. PayPal has no record of any refund from vital choice (or their parent company Harry and David or 1800Flowers) but only the initial charge from 5 months ago. PayPal is now getting the runaround from them. I would not do business with them again. Very shady business dealings. As an I'm sorry for jerking you around they offered to sell me a fruit basket for 40% off, the nerve of them!

Since the purchase of vital choice by 1800 flowers, it is horrible. I just called customer service which had been outsourced to the Philippines. I couldn't even hear for the loud laughing and partying going on in the back ground. I mentioned it several times. Agent seemed unconcerned. I have been ordering vital choice for 20+ years. The supplements were the best, used everyday for this 20+ years. They are no longer available. When the fish arrives because it is now shipped different it's not hard frozen. Maybe 1-800- flowers and Harry and David should have stick with that. Seriously troubled about the decline. My heart Dr. Even got on these supplements because of me. He said all the Dr. At the heart hospital we're on. I just used my last bottle and did not know they weren't selling supplements anymore. Also the fish is now from Pacific Northwest, not so much Alaska. Boo really sad about this.

"The moment we walked in"
The moment we walked in, we were struck by the charming decor and inviting atmosphere. We began our meal with the seafood chowder, which was rich and creamy, loaded with shrimp, clams, and tender potatoes. It was a warm hug in a bowl!
For my main course, I went with the whole grilled snapper, and it was a showstopper. The fish was grilled to perfection, flaky and moist, with a deliciously crispy skin. It was served with a vibrant mango salsa and a side of jasmine rice that complemented the dish beautifully.
For dessert, I indulged in the berry cobbler, which was warm and comforting, topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream that melted into the cobbler perfectly. I left feeling like I had just experienced a mini-vacation by the sea and can’t wait to come back!

"Horrible Customer Service "
I never had any issues before Harry & David purchased Vital Choice.
Now, it's Horrible Customer Service!
I placed an order on July 15, 2024 and paid $402.97 with the understanding that my Cases of 7.5 oz cans would arrive approximately 10/17/2024.
It's now 11/17/2024 and Vital Choice has not communicated with me at all, even though they have my Phone Number and Email. If I owed them money, I guarantee they would be communicating but I guess it is not important when they already have the money.
So, I called them today and the representative says " it's still on Back Order and they do not expect it until October of 2025!
Yes, October 2025!
When was I going to find out?
Had I not called, they would have drug it on forever.
How many other people are waiting like me?
I got my Refund and kindly asked to be "Removed from any and everything to do with Harry & David". If this is how they do business, I want nothing to do with anything they have.
There are other brands that do not take 1 year and 3 months (may be more - they were not sure as to when they would have it, that was a guesstimate.
We live with all the talk of AI and Cars that drive themselves but not one can pick up a phone or email a customer to inform them of further delay?
I am taking my business elsewhere.

"Can't trust Vital Choice if there is a problem"
I have ordered from Vital Choice for years. Ran into my first serious problem and desperately needed to speak with customer service about sending products to a different address since it did not look like they were going to make the original date. I spent almost two hours on hold before I was disconnected. During the entire hold period I had to listen to endless advertisements for other companies. In the meanwhile I was trying to use the chat function asking for help as well. The customer service person did not seem to speak or understand English very well and after quite some time she told me she had to transfer me to a specialist. I waited for a very long time for someone to come on before giving up on the chat option.
Given the high price of these products, it's inexcusable that there is a complete lack of customer service when something goes wrong.

"A Triple Birthday Poké Party"
We had the neighbors over for a triple birthday poké party and used Vital Choice poké kitsm one with ahi tuna and the other sockeye salmon. And the crowd went wild! The party was a big success, and did I say that the neighbors are from Japan? And if the Japanese say fish is top-notch, then it's top notch! Thanks Vital Choice for making the event great!

I was a long time customer of Vital Choice and recommended Vital Choice to any who would listen. I was not happy when it was sold to 1-800-Flowers and have not purchased for some time.
I placed an order for $284 on 11/7/2023: Copper River Salmon, Pacific Cod, Dungeness Crab meat and VitD3 in salmon oil.
The quality was abysmal. I tried 3 packages of the Copper River, 2 of the Pacific Cod and tonight the Dungeness Crab. I have discarded all the remaining except the D3. None of it tasted fresh as it used to. It didn't smell good either.
All arrived frozen solid so there was no thawing issue.
BUT regarding shipping ... 4 boxes! Each item was shipped separately. The 3 frozen items in 3 separate packages. I used to get all in 1 box from WA and this came from WA and somewhere in the Mid-west. Ridiculous waste of packaging and now a terrible product.
