I bought a 50w laser because I didn't want to shell out 5 to 8K for a Thunder Laser. Big mistake on my part. Mainly due to almost no US based support.
With regard to accessories support, there is none. I just received a 4-wheel rotary attachment. It doesn't work. Can't get support. I had to replace a tube for mine. I will get them a thumbs up for packaging and shipping of the tube. But short of that, I should have gone with Thunder Laser. Buyers beware!

I have had a Really Great experience with Monport Laser. Followups to email questions was always prompt and very polite. So I tested their support by calling with a question. I was very surprised that I recognized the voice of "The Louisiana Hobby Guy"as the support rep. He answered my questions and we had a very good conversation about Monport Lasers. After the conversation I went to the Monport Laser website and bought the 60 watt at a really good price.
Setup of the machine went very smooth for me and I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the laser.
I would buy again from Monport Laser and recommend them to everyone wanting a CO2 laser.

Just for starters, even though the product was shipped from China, I received in perfect condition in three days. That was fantastic. I dealt with other companies in China and always received my products between 6 to 12 days after purchasing.
Knowing that I wanted to add some enhancements to the laser, once I unpacked the K40, I reached Rich Faraone to ask for questions, didn't matter that it was late evening on Friday, Rich replied later on, and followed up Saturday morning; thanks to his pointers, I had all the modifications (air assist, Z-axis adjustable bed, and upgraded controller board) done I my laser up and running in a matter of three hours.
My first couple of tests were successful, very pleased with the results, now I'm looking for starting real projects.

"Monport"

After having a diode laser for a few months,I wanted to step up to a co2.
So after shopping around,I decided to go with the Monport 55w machine.
I can honestly say I'm glad I did.
I was pleasantly surprised on how big this machine was once I received it .
It's not a little bench model!
The fit and finish of the machine is excellent.the build quality is excellent.
All I had to do was hook up the power and the water chiller and I was off.
The mirrors were already aligned and ready to go.
This machine is alot stronger than I thought it would be.
The service is excellent also.
It is American based!
I had a few questions, and they were answered promptly in us time.
