"A COMPLETE SCAM"

A COMPLETE SCAM:

This whole company, It’s operations and probably vast majority of their vouchers and packages are fake, they are completely a scam and are out to just consistently charge more fees from their buyers. My relatives bought the paintball tickets from the Royal Sydney Easter Show last year, as discounted vouchers for our whole family, and they were completely ripped off. What they fail to mention to buyers is the amount of additional fees which are also charged (pre payment fees, additional money for the paintball equipment etc) whilst we were aware that we may have to pay extra for certain things, it had eventually become evident to us, that they were clearly charging us for way more, than what was needed, and we were getting trapped into a cycle of just paying them additional money. Furthermore, the communication with the company has been a complete disaster, they refuse to answer any of our concerns properly, and they are actually based in South Africa (contradicting their claim, that they are based in a city called Appin). As well as the fact, that the actual company itself is called “Delta Force Paintball”, and “Next Level Paintball”, is just a cover up so that people do not catch on to their sketchy antics.

They have also utilised a list of scamming techniques, such also having a bunch of fake 5 star reviews on this site, and getting their own employees to pretend to be buyers.

Please be aware that this company is completely unreliable, and is simply out to just steal your money. I highly recommend avoiding doing any transactions with them, at all costs.

"Don’t buy the paintball vouchers from the shopping centre."

A few years ago I had bought the paintball vouchers for my children & paid few hundred dollars from Mt Druitt shopping centre. I tried booking a few times, at which time I realised that it was a sham & a marketing ploy to defraud customers. I am concerned that there are no consumer protection for such types of marketing ploys which continues even today. The vouchers lapsed & I lost a few hundred dollars. I am sure many are still buying such types of vouchers, so please beware that it is a sham designed to defraud the purchaser. It is cheaper to book & buy directly from the company.

"Customer Obsessed - well done!"

Received the booklet of vouchers for Xmas. Chose to call the 1300 and had Philip looked after my booking and expertly managed my questions I had about pricing packages on the day.
Advised me of next steps and things to do prior to going onsite to play. Excellent experience.

"SCAMMING SCAM SCAMMERS"

This company is a complete scam. This “Mike Davies” guy is one of the head scammers that pulled my family into purchasing these dud tickets at the Sydney Royal Easter show. He used dodgy sale tactics by saying “We’ve sold out of these discounted tickets but for you guys we will make an exception”. What these people didn’t mention was all the extra HIDDEN fees.

Essentially, this company is a marketing agency for Delta Force Paintball. They use Next Level Paintball as a way to avoid responsibility for what they are doing to customers and they are based in South Africa. A lot of these reviews here are written by their employees. DO NOT TRUST THEM.

"[𝐒𝐂𝐀𝐌] 𝐃𝐎𝐍’𝐓 𝐖𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐄 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐄𝐘!"

**𝗦𝗖𝗔𝗠 𝗦𝗖𝗔𝗠 𝗦𝗖𝗔𝗠!**
Don't waste your money, all you’re essentially paying for is a $200-$400 booking fee through them. They will make you feel special and will give you fake personal experiences and talk you up till you buy tickets.

Deal directly with local fields and essentially don’t trust these stalls being put up in Shopping Centres and Markets etc. These scammers are everywhere and are internationally known for scamming, if you search up “Paintball Scam” these individuals will be the first on the list with this being one of many horrible reviews.

Myself and my family bought tickets to this paintball place at the Sydney Royal Easter Show 2022, YES, the Easter Show! Just goes to show that they can pull off the stalls being held up anywhere.

All local paintball fields will do you a much better deal than these guys, as I said, you are essentially paying for a $200-$400 booking fee.

Once you start talking there is no escaping and once you purchase your tickets and go home and research these guys you will regret making the decision and find out that the links are just a forefront for another business.

Won’t be surprised if the same individuals are giving themselves 5+ star reviews saying how wonderful this paintball arena is, my only advice to others is to do your research and go through the reviews before you book with these guys.

"Rip off verging on total scam"

BUYER BEWARE - I want as many people to see that this company is a rip off verging on a total scam.

I bought "discount"ed tickets over 300 dollars for y son and his friends from the Sydney Royal Easter Show. Being new to paintball I did not realise how these guys operate.

When I went through the booking process, it was very messy! I was suppose to have someone call me to complete the booking (which nobody did) so I had to chase that up again to complete the booking.

I called and found out it was non refundable which I found out AFTER I called to ask!

I was then looking at the pamphlet with the vouchers I bought and realised how much of a rip off it was! There was a 25 dollar deposit for each person when the website had the same deal but at a lower cost. They will claim to be a different company but they are really a multilevel marketing corporate.

Please be careful and steer away as they will tell you it is non refundable no matter what! Doesnt seem legal to me!

If you call their number they will claim to be based near Appin, as if its a city, though they are really from South Africa. The 5 star reviews are clearly fake. Some are names I recognised as employees on the phone and others have left multiple reviews on different paintball sites.

"SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!"

This is what Next Level advertises – $40 per person fee which included free equipment hire, guns, paintballs, helmet and entry at vastly reduced cost of $9 per person. You then pay a 25 dollar “prepayment” and then must pay 90 dollars to get 500 paintballs. We had a party of 40 people. What they didn’t tell me until after I had coughed up my money to make a booking (with hidden handling fee) was that Next Level does own any paintball fields but uses the fields of others and charges a premium while calling it a discount.

I realised the website for the field I was buying at – Delta Force has a cheaper package of $90 for entry+equipment and 500 paintballs, making my own package with Next Level totally redundant and in fact more expensive than going direct to the field with no “discount”.

I did the math for my party using Next Level prices vs Delta Force prices, though I would never use Delta Force as they seem to be part of the scam despite claiming they are a totally different company. Other reviews all over google claim they have run down equipment, staff problems, no organisation, try to waste your game time and lie about how many paintballs they give you. I didn’t get to the level of actually showing up to their field but seeing the way they conducted themselves with myself with the booking and the subsequent phonecalls make me believe what the reviews say to be true.

See the math:

So $9 x 40people = $360
Then ($25”prepayment” + $1.50 handling fee) x 40people = $1,060 upfront.
Cheapest group package ($90/500 paintballs - $9“prepayment”) x 40people = $3240
Total $360 + $1060 + $3240 = $4660 out of pocket for the party or $116.50 per person

If you take the fine print of 100 increments of additional paintballs for $14 to purchase extra 400 paintballs for 500 total paintballs:
Then $14 x 4(100 paintballs) = $56 per person
$56/400 paintballs x 40people = $2240
$2240 + $1060 + $360 = $3660 for the party or $91.50 per person

They were not planning to honour this $14/100 paintball stipulation, this was blurted out when after dozens of attempts I finally reached the “manager”.
They would have told me it was $25 per 100 paintballs if I showed up on the day and the “manager” offered me an “exclusive package” of 500 paintballs for $81 per person.
$81 / 4(100paintballs) = $20.25 per 100 additional paintballs.
This is worse than what the voucher was already offering me had they planned to honour it.
Anyway using her math, $81+ $9 as per the voucher would = $91.50 per person including handling fee.
Imagine if you didn’t have a discount voucher and actually paid $40 to book with Next Level then another $90 for the package of paintballs. It makes me shudder so you can do that math on that.

Now if you didn’t purchase NLP vouchers and book with Delta Force as advertised on their website:
entry + equipment + 500 paintballs = $90 per person

So there you have it.

"Great service!"

I purchased two discount packages for 10 people and had 2 years to use them. Both times when I booked in the customer service was fantastic especially Philip as he was very knowledgeable and friendly. Looking forward to our second time paintballing.
