Mama Mia the party!

What a fantastic well organised trip to London!

Day 1- We had a warm welcome by the lovely drivers/hosts Jonathan and Samantha at our pick up in carmarthen train station. The bus itself was comfortable, the drivers/hosts constantly updated us I.e service stops, traffic, our itinerary etc they also entertained us with a mama Mia quiz, played mama Mia music to get us in the spirit and we all received a complimentary cupcake (which was Devine). We were fortunate to be able to have a stop off in Windsor, which was lovely on such a warm day, to have a good old stretch of the legs whilst having that extra sight seeing opportunity. We hit some traffic in London on the way to the hotel which is out of anybody’s control, still being updated throughout, but soon enough got checked in and had plenty of time for a freshen up into our party gear before heading off to Mama Mia. Mama Mia the party was fantastic, a great performance/show, delicious food, great service and a magical experience for both my daughter (aged 10) and myself. Highly recommend! We got back to the bus in great spirits and headed back for a good sleep before day two.

The hotel - check in was super quick, room was clean, comfortable double bed with a pull out bed (my daughter shared with me so didn’t use the pull out bed), shower was brilliant (not a sprinkle or freezing cold like some budget hotels), breakfast included was a cooked breakfast, cereals, pastries, coffee machine (pretty basic) but did us a good feed before we headed off.

Day 2 - After breakfast we headed into London and got dropped off for our day of leisure. Again Jonathan and Samantha talked us through our drop off/pick up location, along with pin pointing the location for added reassurance, and a time for when to return. We enjoyed our day of sight seeing with a boat tour, jumping on the tube and a walk around seeing as much as we could. We were picked up, greeted with smiles got comfortable and then had a lovely running commentary of facts and history of some of the buildings, statues, shops and museums that we were passing on our way. The journey was pleasant and again always being updated by the drivers/hosts around service stops, any traffic (there was an accident around the seven bridge which they then took a different route and were not delayed on getting home).

The whole experience was fantastic and for me it was all the little extras that added to this experience! Thank you coracle coaches, Jonathan and Samantha…..great job!! Already looking at the catalog for our next adventure :)

"Memorials,Cathedrals & Heritage"

Great weekend away. From start to finish. Coventry Cathedral tour excellent. Hotel comfy, and food tasty. Breakfast excellent. Sunday: The National Memorial Arboretum, land train ride, and a delicous Sunday lunch. Driver Shane friendly and very helpful.

"Llandudno and Portmeirion weekend "

Coming back from a lovely weekend in Llandudno including a day at Portmeirion. Our driver Darko was exceptional and so friendly and very well presented.
We stayed at the Baytree Hotel in Llandudno. Very nice. I was pleasantly surprised to have a lovely single room with a view of the sea and pier, also a lovely e'n suite.
The food was 1st class and the service of the manager and staff was 1st class.
The hotel is in an excellent position overlooking the sea and near the pier. The shops are very near as well, only have to walk around the corner.
One thing I should mention is the entrance to the hotel isn't mobility affected people friendly. No ramp only steps.

"River Cruise & Hampton Court. "

Myself and my friend have just returned from a weekend away with Coracle coaches visiting Hampton Court Palace a cruise of the Thames with afternoon tea. We have been on a few trips with Coracle before and have always had a wonderful time. This trip was no different.
From start to finish the trip was absolutely fantastic. Our coach driver Phil was friendly, helpful and very informative. The hotel was clean and well presented and both the evening meal and breakfast was great with lots of choice.
The river cruise was wonderful and the afternoon tea was delicious. There is a bar on the boat in case you fancied something a little stronger than tea or coffee. One thing to be aware of is that they do not take card payment as it is cash only.
Hampton Court was breathtaking and we were very lucky that the weather was stunning. All in all, a great weekend and both myself and my friend are looking forward to our next trip with Coracle Coaches. 😀

Have just enjoyed a great weekend away with Coracle.Everything went smoothly from start to finish. Our driver, Tom, was friendly and helpful, ( as well as being an excellent driver!). The hotel was clean and comfortable, the meals were good, and the staff friendly and efficient. The feeder transport made the journey from an outlying area so much easier and quicker too. An excellent service and much appreciated. Will definitely travel with Coracle again soon!

Thoroughly enjoyed & our driver Tom was amazing he had so much patience & kept us up to date with all information needed.
