I marinated the lamb joint in Indian spices as normal. I seared the joint as usual and then cooked slowly as I always do. I waited for the verdict from family members. My husband commented that this was the most tender and delicious roast he had eaten. My daughter thought my cooking had improved greatly and I should stick to this recipe! I agree not the cheapest but without doubt definitely the best.

First time used this butcher. Delivery was great. We had a big family lunch at Easter, beef and chicken were loved by all. It was lovely having a joint of beef that didn't shrink during cooking. Loads left for freezer dinners. Chicken could of been a little bigger for the price.

Very happy with my delivery of a whole chicken (roasted for Sunday lunch), plus chicken breasts & chicken thighs. Not only did it look like a chicken & have the consistency of a chicken, but my siblings & partner really enjoyed the meal!
