It's is a good venue and eventually. Our 3ed attendance.

For the juniors the safety aspect could be improved. On the 18m pool the kids swim from the shallow end to the deep end.

Not enough toilets on site. Long queues.

York kids triathlon - event itself was brilliant and v well organised but the facilities were woefully inadequate. Not enough toilets leaving huge queues (like 20mins!!!) causing unnecessary stress and drama pre race, particularly for kids. No coffee vans/catring etc too, just the uni facilities which were not enough. Please please just get some portaloos and catering vans.

"Brilliant event"

Brilliant event. So well organised and such friendly volunteers. My kids were completely at ease and enjoyed the experience, feeling like they were only competing against themselves

"The York Triathlon"

The whole organisation was excellent. The staff/volunteers were amazingly supportive and clear on instructions. Our girls had the best experience and although nervous to start with they had a very positive experience. They want to do it again!

Only downside was very little toilets.

Printed t shirts with location and date would have been fab but just an idea!

We had a wonderful time at this really well organised event .. we entered zinc and bronze and the kids had an excellent time . Motivated them to come again next year and continue to work hard in the pool.

"Let down by facilities "

Great event, well organised and communicated but was let down by facilities.

Too reliant on the on campus toilets and cafe. Very few toilets and huge queues lead to anxiety for both children pre race. Cafe was tiny, was packed, had very little on offer and ran out of food and non dairy options quite quickly and was very expensive.

Should have sufficient outdoor facilities for an event of this size - portaloos, coffee vans, etc.

"Chesham Kids Triathlon was great"

Chesham Kids Triathlon was great, well organised, clear for the kids, fun atmosphere with real respect shown to the kids even the local mayor handing out their medals! The grass made it a bit harder to cycle on than hard ground but that's the price to be paid for the safe course.
