I've had a doorbell for over a year now
It is completely unreliable, 8 times out of ten it doesn't notify your phone, 6 times out of ten it doesn't even connect with the plug in door bell.
I tried to use the reset button due to new broadband install, it instantly broke, got in contact with Hey and apparently it's my fault and their poor build quality means I can't claim on the warranty (go figure!)

Wow what can I say , so simple to use even I managed it!
Just swap the bulb flick the switch 3times download the app. Find your WiFi & away you go . Works with alexa & Google assistant. So easy to use fun playing with the colours & great fie security set a routine for while your away so the lights come on & off at se times . Brilliant product I highly recommend them to everyone

I’ll keep it short & bitter. I’ve wasted enough time on this company.
I’ve bought 10 GU10 smart bulbs.
The colours seem very droll and not at all pleasant. As are the scenes etc.
Every other day I come to the room and switch on the lights, only to find they’ve disconnected somehow and I have 10 bulbs flashing away while I have to spend a good while reinstalling them. I just didn’t bother after the last time. This ONLY happens with these bulbs. I have Philips, Lifx and Govee as well as some no name stuff. They all work fine.
The worst thing, the bit that takes my feelings for this bulb from hate to despise is the app. The UI is absolutely rubbish. It has you going round in circles. It has such a complicated way of setting the simplest of things up. It is by far the most ridiculous crap I’ve come across. I will never buy this rubbish again. I should’ve stuck with Phillips Hue to start with. These will go up on eBay where I’ll probably get a pittance.

It’s mid August now, just thought I’d come back and say……still hate them. Every other time I turn on the lights in our study, all 9 flipping bulbs flash on & off. I mean, HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO PAIR THEM??!
Also, the app is still super bad with the UI from hell.

January 2024- another update.
Must be a couple of years of owning these and they have decided to call it quits. I have the same blinking light show when I flick the switch, except now, they don’t pair up wit th app. 6 of them can’tevenbe discovered and the other 3 just fail to pair, everytime.
I know Philips is expensive but when you consider that I’min my 11th year and going strong with their GU10 and strip lights and then look at 2 or so years with this disappointment….its a no brainer. I can’t even flog these on anymore.

"Several appliances fail to connect to…"
Several appliances fail to connect to WiFi after few weeks. Some did not connect out of the box.
Flood sensor bought from Scan Malta returned. Failed to work. Replaced with a second device which also failed. Vendor refunded the price in full stating that it must be a defective batch.
Meanwhile Smart plug used for a couple of days went offline and will not connect. Smart bulb bought few months ago is now showing offline and will not connect. I have a couple more hey devices so I'm just counting the days when I will see the orange offline on each device.

Power strip will not power 3 appliances at once!
Purchased in Feb 22 and have not used. Used once (May 2023) and it blew it's fuse. Changed the fuse to discover that it was GLUED in!! Broke the fuse housing removing old fuse. Not fit for purpose.

"Awful products, vague & indifferent guidance."
In December 2022 I bought several smart bulbs & indoor cameras.
I set up multiple groups of the bulbs…and since then, on a daily basis, they randomly go offline. Not all of them (which might suggest the network issue that is the only solution Hey! suggest) one out of 6 in the same lamp will just not work. Or will do something different; the group set to white but one will go rogue & be red. Or the whole group will vanish from the app. Or you’ll select one group to switch on and a different group will switch on.
The final bulb related insult is that you lose all your settings each time you reset a bulb. Names, rooms, groups, colour patterns… all gone, because the bulbs are unstable. I’m currently sat in the dark because the app says all 6 bulbs in the lamp are offline… and I can’t reach the switch (I was using smart bulbs so I didn’t have to!!!)
The smart cameras regularly stop working (also very basic & poor quality image) randomly. At random intervals during the week, I just hear them chime at start up. Every time I’ve needed to review footage for whatever reason, they weren’t working (or at least recording) So I’ve turned them all off. They’re garbage.
More evidence it’s not my network is that I have 3 old Nooie cameras (they can actually be controlled & pan…) and they don’t have any connectivity issues.
Save your money, find something better.
