"Absolutely appalled"

Absolutely appalled! Paid a ridiculous £670 for a "full service" including spark plug replacement at BMW Park Lane Battersea service centre, and left with a misfiring engine. Diagnostic scans show damaged ignition coils and problems with cylinders that weren't there before their shoddy workmanship.

When I returned to report the issues, the disgraceful service assistant had the nerve to dismiss my concerns, pathetically claiming problems were due to my "car being 6 years old" and outright refused any warranty claims for their own incompetent work.

Now I'm facing additional costs to fix what they damaged, including replacing both the spark plugs they just installed and the ignition coils their technician likely damaged during installation.

Expect premium prices but utterly dreadful workmanship and zero accountability at this location. They're a disgrace to the BMW name. AVOID AT ALL COSTS and look elsewhere for your BMW servicing needs.

"Worst people to deal with"

I bouthg a BMW 7 Series from Parklane BMW in September 2021. After collecting the car from underground Q car park, several faults with the vehicle were noted, and I expressed my intention to return the car. However, I was advised that the issues would be addressed, and that the car would be fixed. Please note that due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, BMW did not allow test drives or show the vehicle before the purchase. This is a key point as it directly impacted my ability to properly inspect the car before buying. After contacting BMW numerous times for updates, I was informed that the car was kept for a couple of months, and I had to chase them for further information. Eventually, I was told that resolving the initial issue could take several months, "IF" BMW received instructions from their headquarters in Germany on how to proceed. When I requested to return the car, BMW agreed to facilitate this and assured me, in writing, that I would receive a full refund if the issues could not be fixed and that I would not be out of pocket. On 7th January 2022, I received an email confirming this commitment: ā€œI think this is something that we can correct and if not then we will purchase the car back from you at no cost to yourself.ā€ However, despite this assurance, the process of returning the car became increasingly frustrating. There was a change of management at BMW, and I had to constantly follow up for updates, including the collection of the courtesy car that was provided to me during this period. When it was time for the refund, I was informed that the three-month instalments already deducted from my account would be non-refundable. This is completely unacceptable. Since the car had a fault, I was within my full legal rights to return the car at the price it was sold to me. Furthermore, I have written confirmation from BMW stating that they would buy the car back at the same price, which implies that I should have been refunded all instalments, as they were deducted while the car was unfit for purpose. Had BMW sold me a car without faults, those three monthly payments would have gone toward the car's finance, but in this case, I should not bear the financial loss. Additionally, I have incurred significant costs, including insurance, road tax, and extensive time spent chasing BMW for updates through numerous emails and phone calls. This case is now awaiting a court hearing, and I have also created social media pages to warn others.

"Criminal "

Stuart road battersea I had the unfortunate experience of them damaging my car, instead of receiving an apology and resolution to fix the damage, I was met with terrible rudeness from the staff. They treated me as I were a criminal, they suggested I go through my insurance to resolve the issue rather then take responsibility themselves. I have owned BMW’s for over 37 years and have never encountered such criminal attitude from any bmw service provider, This behaviour is unacceptable and left a very negative impression on in regards to BMW

"Great customer service "

Took my mini in for a service in the Park Royal branch and it was very smooth from start to finish.
The customer service I received when visiting was great and I felt very welcomed. A big thank you to Alvin who looked after me on my visit. Would certainly recommend using this after sales in comparison to other places I’ve been!

"Really mediocre experience when trying…"

Really mediocre experience when trying to buy a car from these guys. Went there as it is the only dealership actually owned by BMW, however I ended up buying from a private garage as I just had a feeling that we were being done over somehow. Shame, as the dealership is beautiful.

"Dreadful. Avoid at all cost."

Car was at Park Lane because of a recall. Whilst there I asked them to check a problem with the fuel sensor. They quoted £178 to identify the problem. It seemed a lot but they justified it by telling me that it was a time consuming job. In the end all they did was connect the car to the computer, which took 24 minutes as per their worksheet. So lazy. Computer could not identify a problem so a pointless waste of my money. Don't they have actual mechanics there to examine cars? O, and then they tried to sell me a new fuel tank for a couple of £000. Complete cowboy outfit. Simply dreadful, avoid at all cost.

"Big sales not their thing"

Walked in with my 2 sons to place an order on a new GS1300 as birthday present to self. Completely ignored by sales staff. Remembered afterward that I had a similar experience back in 1993 - with the same dealership. This is a car - not a bike - seller.

"Well I’m not overly impressed with the…"

Well I’m not overly impressed with the team here! Bought my x4 in for a recall. Dropped yesterday morning early.
Do you think I got an update from my advisor, no I didn’t
I called and spoke to lovel young woman who apologised and said my advisor would contact as they would email them to contact me.

I call today at 9am, same young woman took my call and again apologised that my advisor hadn’t been in contact!
Still nothing by 11am, so I call again. Spoke to another young woman who apologised that no one had updated me!
She tried to put my call through to the advisor and then tried a different advisor! Neither were available.
Finally got a call and a voicemail informing that the car is ready for collection.

You know good customer service is about making sure all customers are kept informed and a simple call would have made a massive difference!
But at least the car is clean so that’s a little bonus
