"Have to Fight for Customer Service"

Our filter system was built into our home before we bought the property. We had Dupure come and install their filter. Now that it's time for a replacement filter, I opted to go for a third party filter that I could order from Amazon for $25. Guess what? Dupure has a moulding modification built into their system that prevents a third party filter from fitting. It's nothing functional in the filtering process; just fitting the filter into the system. So, I reached out to Dupure to get a filter.
I called on Friday to ask about getting a filter and was quoted a price of $75.75 to have the filter sent to me or $57.35 if I chose to pick it up in their store in Houston. I asked when I would have it if I ordered it then. The rep checked and said I would have it in hand the following Monday. I chose to pay the price for shipping. He said I'd get an email to give me tracking info. We confirmed the email address and all details.
On Tuesday, I still haven't received the filter or even the email. I called Dupure and was told they don't ever quote delivery that fast and the shipment hasn't yet gone out. I asked to speak to the senior manager and was told they aren't available now but they will call me later today. I'll believe that when it happens. I expect them to refund the difference between the price paid and the amount before shipping. That would be the right thing to do. I somehow doubt that Dupure will do the right thing.

The manager, Tiffany, did call me back. She had reviewed the recorded call and acknowledged that their rep screwed up. They are having a service technician deliver the filter to my home today and are crediting my card back for the shipping charges. As long as all this actually happens, I'll be moderately satisfied. I should not have to go through this, but at least they are making it reasonable.

They are liars. NEVER use them. They bait and switch and sell you something that it cannot do. Big thumbs down. I will never use them again. I hope this reaches someone else before they make the mistake of using this company.

We decided to have our soft water system removed. This cost us $250. We had Joseph, a very competent technician, who answered a number of questions I had. He was very professional And genuinely helpful. For this reason I am giving a positive review. I also had a good experience with someone in upper management who was answering calls during the freeze in Texas. We got someone to help with repair within the week.

We had a problem with our whole home water system during the Winter weather that struck Texas. I decided to call today after several attempts without response from dupure but to my surprise the representative that I spoke to said she doesn't care about the situation right now because they are working hard to meeting their demand. That is just a slap on my face after the long conversation to actually here that from a representative of a company. That is so insulting and she even hang up on me.
please, if you're thinking of getting dupure be-careful because they will promise you everything and after installation of your system you're on your own.

Worst company to buy, better go with city water, i wasted 3700$ on this piece of crap. All the reviews are correct they say life time warranty and collect $189 everytime they come for service. Run away from this crap.
