"Please never buy Dupure water softener…"

Please never buy Dupure water softener and their service is not professional and definitely rude and doesn't listen to customer.

I had requested to check my home water softener and let me know what needs to be replaced and then replace the filter (media shield) if it needs to be replaced. The Tech came and replaced the filter and then checked the water pressure and said the resin is bad which will cost ~$900 and the filter replacement won't work until we replace the resin in the softener and left saying the Dupure office staff will contact me. The staff Markez contacted me and said resin replacement will cost ~$900 for which I said I don't want the resin replaced for that much high cost as I can't afford it at the moment and also said now that the Dupure warranty is not transferable so the softener doesn't carry any warranty (these days even a small equipment carries warranty transfer). H e wanted to to pay the softener filer replacement and service amount ~$420. Since the softener can't work without the resin replacement, the filter replacement doesn't make sense and the Tech could have tested the water pressure and water hardness before replacing the filter so I can inform the Tech not to replace the filter which was not done in this case. Also, I was not informed ahead that even after replacing the filter the softener might not work and might need other replacements so I could have decided not to go ahead with filter replacement (common sense). Now the staff Markez disconnected my call today saying they will forward the payment to debt collection as I am not paying.

This is ridiculous as their highly trained Tech went ahead with filter replacement and then said resin is bad without informing ahead as I would have not gone ahead with filter replacement as it doesn't make sense to go ahead and replace the filter as the softener still won't work.

Highly unprofessional and rude staff. Please please please DO NOT go with Dupure.

"Worse customer service ever"

Worse customer service ever. System fails time after time and they want me to pay for labor after I already paid them for the service to attempt to fix this piece of junk. Also, it was the techs recommendation that it be replaced. This will be the second replacement. Not one at your own risk.

My experience with Dupure was very good. The salesman made promises that the installers were able to complete. I was worried about my water pressure but that is good. I was worried about atheistics but that turned out well. I would definitely recommend them.

"Nothing Positive Here"

I moved into a 4-year-old house with a DuPure Water Softener installed when the home was built. We have terrible pressure when the system is running, so I called them to service the unit. They accumulated a $489 charge while "servicing" the unit which didn't actually fix it. $139 for a trip charge, $50 for an inspection, then $300 for a part that wasn't needed.

The tech said it would take another $1,100 to replace the resin, in order to fix the problem. He said the resin has a lifetime replacement warranty, but, only for the first homeowner.

I was quoted at $4,000 to replace the unit as I would then have their newest, best system with another lifetime warranty on the resin. The fact that the company limits their lifetime warranty to the first owner of the home says as much about them as their $139 trip charge.

This company has terrible reviews on Yelp and Trust Pilot and if this unit hadn't come with the house, I wouldn't have done business with them, to begin with. The tech

The tech was nice and was able to waive the extra $300 he charged for the part that I didn't need, however, the company as a whole just rubs me the wrong way.

My DuPure technician is Dan Heinz and he's awesome. He's personable and knowledgeable. He'll answer whatever questions you have about your system and DuPure services. Dan will definitely call prior to his arrival so you aren't waiting all day in anticipation. I've had one issue (circuit board malfunction) in the past 6 years with my softener and DuPure came out and fixed it at no cost to me. They even gave me 3 bags of salt. So at the moment I'm very pleased with my softener, DuPure and their staff.

After i spoke to a sales rep which was going no where
I did hang up on them

so that's when I decided to give them a review after posting the review
the sales man called me within ten minutes. He finally came to change out my filters. It shouldn't had to come to this

"Dupure is Awesome !!!!!"

I have sensitive skin and using Dupure's water softener gives me smooth skin again. Drinking water is clear and tastes great and their customer service people, and customer service people are so nice and knowledgeable. Highly recommend them. Their a little expensive compared to knock off brands, but it's worth it .

I am a firm believer in clean and healthy drinking water, so when I bought my new home and found out that the builder was including a water filter system under the sink, I was sold. The manufacturer of the equipment, Dupure, came out and showed me all the options I had. I went with the reverse osmosis system they had because it cleans the water the best. I have had exactly 0 problems with it and I'm completely happy. And healthy!!!
