"Sign up for SPAM forever!"

We purchased from Dupure. The product was OK. But ever since then we receive unwanted e-mails. We have unsubscribed several times but still keep receiving e-mails from Dupure. Never ever again! I still need to find out how to block these mails permanently.

I am giving the 1 ⭐ because it's the lowest. They don't deserve any star. They lie to people. One of their manager named Fuzzy lie to me about soap that I was supposed to get for 4 years, I pay a lot of money for installation. After they get their money they don't care about customers anymore. He never came back to test my water and I never received the soap. Also I don't know if the water I'm drinking in my house is a better quality or not. Very bad customer service. Nobody picks up the phone. I'm in Humble texas. Recently moved to my new house, was enjoying it till the day I met that guy from DUPURE named Fuzzy(manager). I trusted him, he lied to me

"DO NOT BUY PEPURE"

DO NOT BUY PEPURE! Do not do it.
Purchased Dupure Impression Series Metered water Softener because this was the only system the builder KB offered. My system is four years and 6 months old well the resin tank went bad, they say its covered under warranty but they are charging us $350.00 for installation on top of the service charge of $189.95 (I told them before they even came what the problem was) that’s a TOTAL OF $539.95. I am going to try and replace it myself and if that doesn’t work I will just bypass it and in a few months go back to my Culligan water softener this was the BEST.

"The "free soap" is a most definitely not a real thing"

The water softener is doing its job, the installation was professional, but all of the free soap that was promised as a perk is a scam.
There was supposed to be an email to register and order the soap. There was never an email. I reached out 3 times, the sales person said his office manager sent the email. I asked to verify if she sent it to the correct email...he sent me a pin, but no website.
I asked for a different number to contact someone one and he sent me the 1800 number without the last 4 digits.
Come on now. Don't promise something and play the run around game. So unprofessional. Now I feel like I've been taken advantage of.

"HORRIBLE Customer Service"

I have spent a ton of money on a whole house Dupure water system. I love the system however the customer service is horrible. We moved and had to call them to remove the system and have been charged $300.00 for them to remove the system. We will be required to pay at least another $300.00 for them to reinstall at another location just so that the system will remain under warranty. They do not return phone calls. I spend hours on the phone with them and they do not EVER call you back. I would NEVER buy another system from them.

"Don't do it. Where is my freakin soap I was promised."

Don't do it. They are awful. The salesman made a pretty good pitch and we fell for it. Kind of reminds me of Kirby vacuums now that I think of it. The salesman came into our brand new dr. horton home to install a water filter that comes free with the purchase of the home. While he was there he talked us into getting a complete home water filter system $$$. He also talked about all this fantastic soap that comes with the system. 5 years worth of soap. I haven't seen any soap, and my list can just keep going on and on. Please don't fall for Dupre's crap that their salesman will feed you. Im pissed and disappointed in myself. I should have known better. Please go with a different company if you can.

We purchased the best and most expensive system they had 14 years ago. The system was serviced according to their guidelines from the Dupure company. It has been a continuous rip-off that degraded with unprofessional workers and extremely rude customer service. They don’t really care about customers.

"DuPure water equipment service is pathetic!!"

a Toll Brothers build chose the DuPure EcoPure salt free water treatment for my house. There’s No San Antonio DuPure offices. Their Home office is in Houston & it’s impossible to get through to set up and schedule service appointments. There service is absolutely terrible. First Discovered DuPure didn’t put a filter in my original install until 5 years later. I’ve had the system changed out one time in ten years because the service techs they send out are lazy and always say everything’s ok yet filters are generally recommended to be changed every year because of bacteria but not DuPure techs. DuPure service just want payments without doing any service and they have absolutely no quality control to double check their pathetic techs who do no thorough service for customers. The last time two years ago, I asked for service, the tech came by & checked the exterior faucet chlorine content while I wasn’t home & the tech left and said everything was ok but didn’t even come inside my garage to check the EcoPur system. I called their home office and found out the tech they sent out was his last day on the job with DuPure. They refused to send another tech to double check the tech that quit who didn’t check my equipment. DuPure reps are kids who aren’t licensed professionals being inexperienced liars along with absolutely NO supervision. I’m starting to see calcium build up rings in my commode & my shower heads are getting calcium build up. Clearly DuPure EcoPur’s System ain’t as good as they say while Im seeing calcium build up after 10 yrs with this worthless EcoPur system. I’m now looking to completely throw away DuPure’s stuff to find more reputable equipment with licensed reps who likely care about servicing customers properly!! Would never recommend DuPure to anyone after my 10 yr history of experiencing their pathetic service.

"Shady business practices"

If you want good customer service and a transparent billing process, do not do business with Dupure. If you have their system, good news is that it actually does the job if you keep up with maintenance. Bad news is that it is very costly to maintain, especially when they charge you almost $200 just to come out and inspect even if nothing is done.
If you have to be stuck with them, be extra careful when you request service appointments. They require a credit card number before they will schedule for a technician to come out. When they complete the service, they don't give you an itemized bill for you to sign for the total charges that will be put on your card before they leave either. They will also tell you a service is under warranty and charge extra labor cost for it without explaining things clearly before the service on warranty items get started. You will only find out how much extra you are charged when and if you look at your credit card statement. And, when you call them about the problem you should prepare yourself to not have a reasonable answer, such as it was simply a misunderstanding. They will promise to get back with you on the initial call, and ignore you or try to change the subject if you continue to follow up.

There are definitely issues on poor customer service and questionable business practices. You are basically handing your credit card to them to charge what they want the minute you call to make appointments unless you get all the prices clarified, in writing, and get an itemized bill to sign and authorize the charges to be put on the credit card. Otherwise, get ready for trying to fight and get your money back for the charges you didn't approve.
