I was on the verge of buying some high end binoculars but then saw some of South West Optics excellent videos which made me realise that, for the occasional use they would have, I probably couldn't justify spending circa £2,500 when a binocular costing a fraction of that would probably meet my needs.
Ended up ordering Vortex Diamondback HD 10x42 from SWO for circa £230 and, so far, I am very happy with my purchase.
The binoculars were dispatched on the day of purchase and arrived 2 days later - very well packaged and will happily use SWO again.
We are staying down in Totness later this year (Dart 10k swim) and intend making the trip to Torquay so that we can see our Diamondbacks against the Swarovski NL Pure 10x42 we were originally considering - could be a mistake :-)
