Swan Retro fridge freezer - AVOID
I purchased my beautiful Swan retro fridge freezer just under 3yrs ago at £659 from AO. At less than 3 yrs old but outside the 2 year warranty period the unit has failed (fridge not cold) and has been deemed beyond economic repair. My advice would be to avoid at all costs - it looks great but such an item at such a level of investment, not the most expensive but certainly not the cheapest, should last a lot longer than 3 years! Swan as a company did not want to know and the extended warranty I had in place with Pacifica was of no help whatsoever as it turns out that they do not replace on the first fault, despite being sold as a policy ensuring replacement if the item cannot be fixed so be very wary of so-called extended warranties to!o
