Bradley and McKenzie turned up when they said they would, despite the cold and wet. Both of them were polite and courteous and worked really hard at cleaning off decades of moss and dirt from the roof. It now looks brilliant! I was also really impressed with how they cleaned everything down at the end of every day.
The whole process with the company felt good from the first knock on the door. Angie did a good job explaining what would happen and how the coating would stop the moss regrowing for years. The company kept in touch and they did what they said they would do.

Just had my flat roof recovered by Artisan. It is a largish area of a third of the overall size of my bungalow. The work was carried out by JUSTIN and TOM who I cannot praise highly enough. They have that rare quality of wanting to do the best job they can and take pride in doing a damn good job. It was a pleasure having them around and they cleared up brilliantly too. Faultless. Cannot recommend highly enough.

"Flat roof installation"

I had this company remove a polycarbonate roof and replace it with a flat roof with skylights. They were very busy at the time which meant they were a little late starting the job. The workmen Justin and Tom kept me informed at all stages of the job. It was a difficult job with not much room to install the flat roof but the work, carried out by Justin and Tom, was done effectively and efficiently. During the work I was able to discuss the design and based on their advice a roof lantern was installed rather than two roof lights to allow more light into the adjoining room. This was the best advice I was given and resulted in a far better outcome than the original design. I am very happy with the result and will be engaging them again to do some roof repairs in the near future. There is one downside to the work that was done mainly due to the problems experienced fitting the flat roof in the restricted space available. The roof does not drain effectively and holds a small amount of water on top. Having consulted and discussed this widely I am assured the EPDM roof membrane will not be adversly affected by this but in any case the Justin and Tom are due to come back and see what they can do to get rid of the water.

"Absolute miracle workers!"

After an thorough and speedy emergency repair on our roof last year, we were able to get Artisan to sort our render, windows and associated plasterwork this summer. We immediately encountered a problem with degraded lintels - but the guys sorted it safely in a matter of days (working miracles!), then got to work as planned. While this had delayed the schedule, every day of work seemed to accomplish so much. We're now set for winter with beautiful new render, windows, doors and a shiny gate. Getting many favourable comments from the neighbours and can't thank Ollie and his team enough. Recommending gladly.

Excellent job carried out by Aiden and his team. The work was carried out very professionally. Aiden was extremely polite. He worked really hard and turned up when he said he would. In addition to our property great respect was also shown for neighbouring properties. Aiden even took photos so we could see close up the work carried out on the roof even though we did not request this. I would highly recommend Artisan and definitely use this company again for any future work we need carrying out.

"Cleaning and ProPerla colour coating of Monocouche renderMonocouche render on the front of…"

The Monocuche render on the front of our property was in need of cleaning and colour change.
Following a 'cold call' by a friendly and informative Artisan caller, we decided on a follow up meeting with their sales representative who again explained the benefits of the preparation process and application of 'Properla' masonary paint system described as 'water repellant' and breathable.This gave us reassurance so we decided to proceed with the work.
With regard to the agreed start date, Artisan notified us that, owing to an overrun of a previous contract there would be a one week delay.
Fortunately, there was a good spell of dry weather forecast and the preparation and cleaning work started that following week.
At higher level on the front of the property the original monocouche render was noticeably dirty with atmosperic carbon build up.Jet washing was started at the bottom level and continued upwards.(Perhaps this was because the required safety access scaffolding was not inplace prior to the work being started).A biocidal coat was also applied to the front facade. (In my opinion I would have thought it would have been more beneficial to clean from top to bottom)
The following day the painter arrived and explained the various stages of the painting process, he was thorough in applying plastic film and masking tape to the front door/frame and windows on the front and rear of the house.
The painter was meticulous in applying the first coat and cutting in around the perimeter brickwork.The second and final coat was applied the following day.Masking materials cleared from site and the area was left clean and tidy, his attention to detail was recognised and greatly appreciated.
The scaffolding contractors installed and dismantled and removed from site in good time and as requested.
In summing up we are happy with the polite and professional way in which the Artisan team operated.Keep up the good work.
