"I truly would not recommend them"

I truly would not recommend them. I went to them to consolidate my two credit card debts of less than $13,000. They gave me a 3-year payment plan, then increased my payments or gave me a cash injection. They negotiated the two debts for almost $10,000, and now I'll end up paying them $18,000. That's almost $6,000 more than I owed, and now I'm also stuck with $500 on my credit.

I have not missed a payment despite the monthly amount increasing to almost 3 times the amount I was “offered” at the beginning of this. The communication is non-existent, I’ve been misled, essentially lied to, I’m concerned at this point I am being scammed. The amount I’m on track to pay is actually higher than my overall debt beginning this program. I wish i had more knowledge about this situation instead of trusting a company I believe is taking advantage of me at the hardest point in my financial life. I cannot even access my escrow account.
