"Wave in Kendal"

Wave in Kendal? Amazing!! Looking for a watch, the staff were brilliantly helpful and found me the perfect one, yes, more expensive than I was planning to spend as they matched me to a Gucci, but they found what I didn't even know I wanted. Very unfortunately within 2 weeks a tiny screw detached from the wrist band, so I returned it, very disappointed indeed, and unwilling to be without a watch again, requested a full refund. They were completely ready to do so, but, because I could not find an alternative that I loved as much as the original (and because they too were shocked that the Gucci had a fault), they let me choose a replacement watch for the time it took to repair the original, and to keep both when my beautiful one was returned! Now you cannot better that for customer service on every front! Sensitivity to the customer's original desire, understanding of disappointment, flexibility, the manager's listening skills and patience, generosity ... I was completely bowled over by this customer service and cannot encourage anyone more seriously to use this shop for lovely jewellery and attention above and beyond!

"Perfect personal service -great jewellery"

I would like to thank Paul and the team in manchester for perfect service from start to finish and their help choosing our wedding rings . Having seen nothing similar else Where in manchester we were amazed and suprised by the amount of choice and their flexibility to get us exactly what we wanted ! Both JEN & i had our rings personalised ( made in different colours of gold without any extra cost - thank you once again ! The hand written personalised messages with the the rings that were delivered exactly when promised was the icing on the cake 10/10

"Poor quality and worse service"

I bought a ring for my wife from here to celebrate the birth of our daughter. We've had to send it back 3 times. The first time the stone fell out. The second time when it was fixed it came back with scratches everywhere and the third time the stone fell out again. Then we were told that the diamond had been chipped! They don't get back to you and they won't give us our money back. Completely dissatisfied and wouldn't recommend them at all.

"Beautiful Engagement Ring - better than expected"

Having already obtained a certified diamond elsewhere I was looking for a Jewellers to design a semi-bespoke Platinum ring to fit. Waves had a lot of products in platinum so I went to visit them and I was not disappointed. From the off they were really accommodating. Having chosen the ring I wanted, it was ready made in quick time (before Christmas). I later found out that unlike some their platinum ring maker is locally based (Manchester) which allowed the quick turnaround. The ring when ready was even better than expected. I would definitely recommend, particularly for anything platinum.

"Terrible customer service"

I have bought several items from Wave over the last 7 years, including wedding rings, wedding jewellery and diamond jewellery. I have recently had a problem with a platinum diamond pendant which has broken, after 5 telephone calls and 3 emails (apparently none of which have been received) I have spoken to a gentleman at the Manchester store today who was nothing short of rude. Basically making out like I was unable to understand that I needed to bring in the item - I now live over 1 1/2 away from Manchester. I explained that I was due to have a phone call back several times and that nobody had bothered - he simply said if you don't bring it in I can't see what we can do, I understand but I wanted to know if there would be a charge if so I would save the journey and have it done locally! After spending over £1000 on this item I find it very sad that the previous impeccable experience I have had was so poor, especially when this piece was bought with inheritance and meant a great deal - hence why I didn't feel comfortable putting it in the post. I will take my item to a local jewellers instead and will not be returning or recommending Wave again as I have in the past!

I have been a long time purchaser at Wave, via the Manchester store and most recently the web site. I have nothing but good words to say about the help and customer care in store and online. The products speak for themselves and are wonderful.

"Fantastic service and communication"

This is my second major purchase from Wave and the help and service I received was fantastic.
On this occasion I dealt with Amy who was very professional and kept me well informed on the progress of the lovely Platinum & Diamond ring I bought.

I would highly recommend and certainly use again.
