"Downright Unprofessional..An Absolute Joke!!! No Excuses can Justify this."

This is additional to review left by Paul Callan for same project except a few more details. I specifically wanted an Arch pvc patio door for our new extension...i found Costello Windows who said they could do this no problem...Great..except the start of a nightmare.!! deposit of 1825 euros paid 24th Sep 21 and told we have it end of Nov early Dec. At some stage after they finally came to finish measurements they informed us that the door would have to be a full arch...suited me perfectly..contacted them in Dec told we have it before Christmas..it didn't arrive. In january i contacted them numerous times but they were not able to give me any information on the door or even any idea when it would be finished . We were under pressure as we needed door to go in before plastering. it came to a stage where i lost my cool and asked if there even was a door being made etc etc. i was dealing with sales and the fitting dept..pillar to post.Only info given was the door was made but problem with the arch (as per fitting dept).. early February i was told they have an answer on Mon 7//2/22 and lo and behold NO DOOR and apparently had only been attempted the week before and it was basically too difficult..space not big enough..manufacturer's fault blah blah but the point is we were lied to and 4 months was wasted whoever's fault it was, it was Costellos responsibility to get answers from whoever they sub contracted it, even to tell us nothing had been done, much much sooner than February.. they left us having to buy a standard door in a patio door shop immediately that i do NOT want and is just wrong colour wise, shape etc etc so our build can go ahead. and they did not return our deposit when they said they would which caused more distress. Honestly you guys need to shut up shop...or stick to making plain normal simple little windows ONLY.Anything else is beyond your professional ability ..but it was disappointing, misleading and downright unprofessional...i wish i had looked at Trustpilot before i chose Costello Windows. I would not have done so had i seen these type of reviews. Shame on you CostelloWindows...You ruined it for me in more ways than you will ever know...: (.. But at least you had my money for 4 months (good for your books anyway).. and besides a verbal apology which wasn't enough, it's all supposed to be over and done with now!!!!??? you cost me time and money.and no product...That's not acceptanle.

"Ordered windows on 18th May 2021 paid…"

Ordered windows on 18th May 2021 paid the deposit requested at the time. Fitter arrived 24th September insisted I call the office and pay for the windows. They didn't have all of the windows at the time and promised they would be on the way that afternoon as they were in the warehouse. They proceeded to take FULL payment and I haven't seen my remaining windows yet. The fitter on the day did not have a clue, put the delivered windows in the wrong way around, left a gaping gap overnight (luckily there was no rain) and destroyed my bedroom carpet with cement. Two fitters arrived a week later and did fix the windows, but I'm still waiting for 2 more to be delivered. I'm emailing and calling constantly, but no response. Very poor customer service. Small claims court is next. PLEASE NEVER USE THIS COMPANY, I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY'RE STILL IN BUSINESS.

"Fabulous finished product"

We were initially frustrated due to delays, but now that our door is in we are thrilled. It looks beautiful and feels very secure. James the fitter did a very neat job and was very good to deal with. We couldn't be happier.

"Avoid Costello Windows at all costs"

Avoid Costello Windows (AKA Bluestone Bridge Ltd.), of Glin Co. Limerick at all costs, pity there is no way to award Zero Stars. Took my order and a 50% deposit in September 2021, and promised delivery in November 2021. First sign of trouble was no delivery in November 2021, and only got told the day before it was due to arrive. Rescheduled for late December, and then January 2022 and finally got told in February 2022 they will not be suppling the door at all. After a minimum of 50 calls and two weeks, I finally got refunded my deposit today. Do not do business with this company.

Costello windows are not to be engaged in any type of work DO NOT TRUST!!!. Its very unfortunate that I picked them. Ordered a front door with arch in 2020. Doctors knocker and door handle brass. The arch finish was very poorly engineered gaps and joint cuts that any professional contractor who has a Quality department would have not sent out to a client .With 58 emails and over 30 phone calls with customer service so poor. It cannot possibly called customer service. Always pushing out dates and excuse after excuse. Even threatened legal action but the result was nothing to Costello windows as I think they were so used to legal actions by now. I do not know how and why they are still in business. Arc never rectified. Got another contractor to fit new. So in short. Stay well clear of these types.

If I could give -0 stars I would, it is shocking that this company are still in business, they will promise the sun and moon but what they deliver is appalling. Very charming sales people but damaged product delivered. Keep a very wide berth, I wish I had, money down the drain.

"Absolutely dreadful company and…"

Absolutely dreadful company and appalling customer service from Costelloe windows. We ordered a door and paid 920 euro deposit and the remaining 2200 was to be paid on installation. The door never arrived and Costelloe windows failed to answer any of our calls or emails. The lady we dealt with initially was exceptionally friendly until we paid our deposit and once she had our money she was just rude when I rang to ask for reassurance. She agreed to check with the supplier and call me back. I never heard from her again. I requested a refund of the deposit but Costelloes surprise, surprise, never responded. The dispute is now being dealt with by the bank. I have decided I would rather lose my 900e deposit than give them another brown penny. I don't know how they sleep at night!

We have windows fitted by this company and I would agree with those that say there are one of the worst window companies I ever had to deal with.

"Very dishonest greedy company"

I would advise that anybody waiting on an order to cancel straight away. If considering using this company for your Windows and doors, do not. We had our windows and doors replaced back in 2019 triple glazed the works. We went through the nonsense waiting. From day one of the install there were problems, A sliding door that let the breeze and noise come through at the closing edge. A back kitchen door that has turned the kitchen into a fridge like environment. French doors installed in sitting room again triple glazed, allowing the breeze through. I will put a video of this on you tube, you will see the paper being blown by outside weather conditions. Right now at this time 08:10am, the temp in the sitting room inside the door is at 3'. It is impossible to get them back to fix these problems, the guarintee they give is pointless. My advise again, please get your deposit back, cancel with them, if you don't you will regret it believe me.
