"Not good"

As a carpenter I am ashamed to have purchased windows from Costello's.
I was naive to think that one could not sell brand new windows that leak. I bought 7 windows at a cost of 8000E and all 7 leak.
Costello's have been out to TRY and fix the issues SIX times, amounting to 6 FULL days and 10 man days (not including me having to be onsite with them). Until now the issues were regarding water ingress, from seals leaking, to full on water coming inside the building, they have stopped responding to my emails.
I got an airtight and thermal imaging test done this week and with the cold weather parts of their frames were reading 4° inside!!
Aluclad (aluminium outside, pvc frame, wood inside), resulting in condensation forming on the wood frames.
Lots of air coming in through rubber seals, even on fixed window seals.
My advice would be don't buy anything from Costello windows, Glen Co Limerick.
I have videos & pictures of water damage and air leakage. In high-end sight I would happily have paid double to avoid this stress.
I have a mixture of rational and Munster joinery windows I fitted myself on the same building and none of these leak !

"Awful awful after sales "

Awful awful after sales , only company I know who take full balance of job before they start , forget about it if you have some fault in windows , I’m waiting 18 months for some to sort my faulty bay window , just to be told it’s in production lies after lies , stressed out of my mind dealing with this company , excuses excuses , sick of it it’s like speaking to robots !!

"Very disappointed"

Very disappointed with them. They are extremely quick to take the money and promised the world while doing so. The fitter was great a gentleman, but the product was the wrong size when fitted, different to what was ordered. A window we got, looked used when it eventually arrived. No customer service, no return calls, we have to keep chasing them.
They hide behind the small print in the contract, and are not afraid of legal action (probably used to it).
In my personal opinion, these are rogue traders and not to be trusted or recommended.

I highly recommend Costello Windows, had windows fitted in February of this year. Very happy with the quality and the fitting. Experience from start to finish was excellent. The Team are really helpful and pleasant to deal with. I also got the best quote from this company! Put a call in to their service department this month (October) re a small concern regarding a hinge on one window. Within 48 hours one of their service team called, checked all of the windows and all are perfect!
