Having spoken to a number of companies I choose family-owned Costello Windows who are based in Glin, Co. Limerick to replace all my teak windows and doors with triple glazed composite equivalents. As a first stage I spoke with their sales representative Hayden and he arranged an appointment to visit and discuss my requirements. This went very well and I then visited the factory where I met staff members who gave me a show around and an excellent talk on their product offerings. We agreed pricing and delivery and I was happy to give them the job. Everything went smoothly and I found all the staff at Costello’s, whether in sales, reception, the office/administration, and the installers who came to put the units in, to be professional and friendly. They were helpful in every way and offered suggestions and guidance on whatever issues arose. My job was done promptly and to a high standard. I am thankful for their service and I recommend them.

The first 2 paragraphs is the usual; quoting their own supposed status and quality of work. If your standards are so high, why did this job end up like it did???

Your workers broke your own contract and verbally agreed (so they say) with the person giving access to the house to walk away and leave it in the mess one can see today.

Disingenuous!! No it's not me who is disingenuous. The proposal is to get me to dig out 2 walls of an old house so the wrongly measured windows can fit in how they were supposed to...as in fitting in the existing opening and by god being able to open!!! Wouldn't that be brilliant..imagine spending thousands on windows I can't open, how would you like it done on your house Mr John Costello? In total my partner and I spent approximately 30k with your company only to be left with basically paying twice for the proper installation of 4 windows upstairs and proper seals around the other windows and door.

You keep stating that your people will come and do what exactly?? after I pay again to have these windows inserted properly. That plastering or relining the walls has a bearing on what was not done here, is a joke!

You are trying to get away with this and I promise you, you will not. I fully intend to run a media campaign against you and we will be going to court to solve the outstanding issue.

Make no mistake about it, I may be one of the little people but there are a lot of us who have been wronged by your company and left to pay for your obvious wanton neglect and not fulfilling the terms of the original contract.

Just had my windows and doors fitted this week. The products that arrived were just like I pictured and was so happy with them. The two boys Gerry and Jack who fitted everything were lovely to deal with it and did a fabulous job of fitting and re plastering the work once completed. Very happy with everything. The first day I put the deposit down I think it was with Eddie (sorry if I got his name wrong) he said it would be all done in 8 weeks and it was. People who I were talking too on the phone were lovely aswell and Catherine in the office rang me when the boys were finished to make sure I was happy with everything and told me if I needed anything in the future don’t hesitate to contact. Very pleased with this company and would recommended them. I was replacing windows/doors on a old built house

I recently got new triple glazed windows, front and back door from Costello’s. I cannot recommend them highly enough. From start to finish they did an amazing job. I spoke with Hayden first on the phone, he’s a lovely person to deal with. He called to my house and I told him everything I wanted, he really listened and was a pleasure to deal with. I had spoke to other window companies but found Costello’s to be the best to deal with.

I wasn’t waiting long to get them installed. Derry came out first to do the final measurements, he was very good to deal with. I wasn’t sure what glass to get in my front door, I had a few different types in mind and he gave me great advice on the design and exactly where the design would fit on the glass panels on the front door. I’m delighted with the design he helped me pick.

Timmy and Michael came and fitted them. They had the whole house finished in 2 days. They were two gentlemen, very nice to deal with. The job they did was very clean and tidy, minimal dust. I changed the design on my sitting room window from a straight window to a bow window and they plastered back up the walls. Very clean and tidy work.

I highly recommend Costello’s to anyone looking for windows and doors. I’ve had many neighbours call to the house admiring them. Overall I couldn’t have asked for better.

I was extremely happy with whole process from initial consultation with Hayden who talked me through all my concerns and John the fitter who was friendly and efficient they tried to keep dust to a minimum I am pleased with finished product and would highly recommend the company to family and friends

We recently had windows and doors installed in a new build. Everybody from the initial consultation with Aiden through to fitting by John & partner were all very professional, friendly and easy to deal with. There were 2 minor adjustments including glass replacement and they came back within 2 weeks to rectify them. We are so happy we chose Costello's and would highly recommend them.
