"This is a scam operation."
Emailed them twice and called them. They have you sign up for 7 free searches. When you use one search they prompt you to sign up for a subscription. Do not use this service.

"Bad business practices"
I signed up for the 7 day/7 lookup free trial which turned out to be not a free trial. They claimed that I "purchased" a membership which I had not done. They won't refund my money so now I'm out $19.95. When I contacted customer service they never got back to me.

"Deceptive Advertising and Billing Practices! Beware!"
2/23/16 signed up for 7 day free trial, used site for one evening. Site very slow, did not provide information I was looking for. Cancelled, received confirmation subscription was cancelled via email. Looked at my credit card account a few days later and saw they billed me for $539.99, annual subscription. I was shocked! First the site makes it appear if you choose the annual subscription choice you save 50% and it is billed in monthly installments. So I called them today, 2/25/16, and spoke to the customer service person. Who informed me of how it works. It is 7 days or 7 lookups! I certainly wasn't aware of that! Oh and once you hit the 7 lookups then a box appears asking you to confirm your subscription, which I don't remember and this seals in your subscription! Ok, but I only used it for one evening. Asked about prorating the fee since did not use it for 7 days. Nope-- once you click that box apparently you are charged the full amount whether you use it or not. I won't be using it because it does not provide information I need. She was very argumentative, demeaning and telling me I was wrong and she could ask a manager to call me and see if we could reach an agreement but this was iffy, might happen, might not. Might get a call might not. I logged back in to the account and it confirms I do not have any subscriptions! I want my money back. That is absolutely absurd they would charge me $539.99 for one evening of browsing!

"Is anybody alive at worthpoint?"
I don't get the prices anymore (and that's why we use it I think) so I send an email to support (got an automated response, but nothing else) so I send another email (automated response again). I phone them (15 minutes on hold, no response! Customerservice never heard of apparently!

"7 days of Aggravation"
I only wanted the free trial. I started my account and found one item. When I tried to log on again, the computer said the email and password was invalid. I requested a new one, but still could not get on. I was frustrated and at that point, I gave up. I tried later and got the same message, so I used a different email. After 7 minutes and 7 seconds I was charged $20. For even trying to log on. I called customer service and a gentleman assured me that that account was canceled. I told him what happened and that I wanted my money back. He said no, and told me about the rules. I was unhappy, but this fiasco was now over. Then to my surprise on my next statement Worth point has taken ANOTHER $20 on a closed account. I called and a lady told me that the email that I was using was not active in the system. I gave her the only other email that I have and sure enough it was the account that I was billed twice on. I still wanted my money, but she said I could still use the service. She reset my passwrd and waited on the phone while I logged on. I was confused by their terms, conditions, rules and regulations. When I called I was frustrated, upset, and out of $40, after she explained what I didn't understand I was able to log on, which is what I wanted all along. She said, I have until November. Now if I am charged again there will be another post that will not be a 4. Thank you.

"7 day trial"
My parents are elderly. They have recently taken up scavenging estate sales and flea markets. They started the free trial, but the site wouldn't let them see prices. Before the 7 days ended they called for help. A very patient lady in customer service advised them that they had not complete the process and she completed the process for them. She even stayed on the phone while they looked up a few items to make sure they could see prices and understand how to search for items. They are now happy surfing the site and I am so happy she handled this for me. (I mean for them).

"Amazing! It's like having an instant team of experts researching with you"
I am lucky enough to find rare examples of antiques, collectibles and artwork that can be difficult to identify. Sometimes, even with the entire world wide web at my fingertips, there are still items for which information is scarce, or takes way too much time to find.
Well before Worthpoint, I had to "go with my gut" when deciding if something was a worthy investment. Sometimes I'd hit a home run, and sometimes I'd be very disappointed. Now, I am better informed and more efficient at making those decisions on the fly. I can purchase items with confidence, rule out the less desirable, and get on to the next estate sale in record time, then turn around and make solid profits with far fewer risks.

"Worthpoint helped me start a business"
I have been using Worthpoint for a couple of years now and it is an invaluable tool for my business. I started with a 7 day trial because I had a lot of antiques to look up after my aunt died. After the trial, I continued with a paid membership because I realized that the values I had put on these items were lower than what they were actually worth. after I finished with my aunt’s estate, I started attending other estate sales, garage sales and flea markets looking for thing that had been underpriced, based upon my new knowledge and the Worthpoint app. I am now doing this hunting, picking and selling fulltime and couldn’t without Worthpoint.

"Watch out for the "Free 7 day trial"!!! Terrible company & CS!!!"
Terrible company & terrible customer service. I thought about joining a while back and saw they offered a free 7 day trial. They now changed that to "FREE for 7 days or 7 lookups". That's VERY confusing and I didn't even realize the "7 lookups". This is a new practice of deception they didn't practice in the past. I looked up 7 items and when I tried to look up the 8th it wasn't showing me the price and instead where the price should be there was a button that said "Activate paid subscription".
I thought it was an error because I didn't see the new "7 lookups" stipulation they added to the 7 day free trial. I clicked on the button thinking it would show me the price or give me the option to CONFIRM I wanted to be CHARGED $19.99/mo for a subscription but IT DIDN'T! Clicking that button AUTOMATICALLY charged me $19.99 without seeing a confirmation or review of what was happening, it just charged my PayPal acct $19.99, so within minutes of signing up for my "Free 7 day trial" I was charged $19.99. I immediately stopped using and contacted customer service.
They told me I'm SOL that it's in their terms of service and in the "Welcome email" I received so they were unwilling to refund even though I explained their a bunch of thieves and that the "Free 7 days or 7 lookups" wording is very DECEPTIVE!! I paid $19.99 to lookup 8 items!! TERRIBLE COMPANY & TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
