I have both an ebay store and an etsy account I find my subscription to worth point invaluable I use it almost daily to determine my prices and to make sure I'm not paying to much for items when out thrift store shopping and garage sale shopping

"Updaing Billing Info"

I called to update my billing info. Anita took my payment information. When she reviewed the updated information she quoted a higher price than what I was originally paying. I let her know that if my price was increasing I would cancel. She assured me that I could continue with the same rate. Well needless to say, I was charged the higher price. I called her and left a message and emailed her to let her know about the fee. This morning when I checked my email, she replied that she had corrected the fee, refunded my money and gave me a free month for my trouble. I enjoy the website and really didn't want to have to cancel. It's useful for the business that I do. I buy and sell. I attend auctions, estate and garage sales. I am pleased that she corrected the fee in a timely manner. She got in front of the problem before I could even call to complain. That is customer service.

"Billing problems"

I undated my credit card information and was billed twice for any annual plan of $200 on two different cards. I spoke with Annette and she couldn't find two accounts. I told her I would email her the statement. After she received the statement. I received my credit and an apology. I think WorthPoint is serves it's purpose. I use them all the time on the road buying and selling. Instead of searching 4 or 5 websites, I can just search in one place. I would recommend them to serious dealers. If you are just browsing this may not be the site for you.

"Worthpoint Complaints on Subscriptions-Charges your Account Do not sign for a free trial"

Do not give Worthpoint your credit card number. If you have, and Worthpoint is billing you for a subscription fee you have not authorized, contact your credit card company and file a dispute. You can also file a complaint with the BBB.

Try writing to Worthpoint President. If he does not respond try to contact a Board Member to let them know what Worhpoint is doing with your account and unauthorized charges.

We believe Worthpoint Company uses unacceptable marketing, selling and billing methods/modes. Their goal is to increase revenue, and this business does not care how it hurts their potential customers financially.

Document your complaints against Worthpoint on safe sites.

"Billing Issues"

I had an account years ago. I was charged incorrectly before the 7 days was up. I called and promptly received an apology and my $19 bucks. Then today I tried to log on. Had to call and spoke with Anita. She tried several times to use the email I requested, but because I was previously a member it would not allow the free trial again. She explained how to update my credit card information, but it wasn't working for me. I used a different email with Anita and she stayed past closing to create an account for me. They use to have people that you could speak with about the vaule of your antiques, but Anita said they no longer offer that service. I had her on the phone for over half an hour listening to me vent about not finding a fair appraiser. She was great with me. I guess like most people she wants to be treated with respect. As long as my billing is correct I don't have a problem.

"Love the service"

I have read many of the review about WorthPoint. I don't understand how you can blame the company because you didn't read the fine print. When you to to Macy's they have a return policy that you have to adhere too. Even the electric company has a policy of late fees when you don't pay on time. Why should WorthPoint be any different. I guess I am different because I don't feel like I am above the policies and procedures. I have spoken with many employees there. Every time I have called Anita has answered the phone. She was professional and patient enough to assist me in setting up my account. I love WorthPoint. I do not have to spend hours searching the web when they have what I'm looking for in one place. You people have a lot of nerve. Keep up the good work WorthPoint

"Customer service is condescending and rude"

I thought I was testing out the service as a trial period. I don't have time to read tiny fine print details in every single thing that I do online. I called because I cannot afford $20 a month to research items online, it was my impression that I would not be charged as long as I was testing it out. I didn't realize I was " signing up" for this monthly! $20 is a lot !
I explained my predicament to Anita, the wonderfully condescending customer service rep. , and she was no help at all. I want my $ refused and I will never use this service and let my fellow antique dealers, which are many, to avoid this website.
I am in the antique business, and have been for years so I am very disappointed in the integrity & quality of contact they have representing them.

"Worthpoint is Awesome!"

I have used Worthpoint many times to find prices of items sold that I can never find on Ebay. I really like the fact that they go back a number of years on their sold findings which is a great asset. I'm quite surprised on the negative responses. Maybe they aren't using it correctly. I would be lost without it!!

"Good site but hoping for improvements"

Since they have updated the mobile app it has become much more stable and useful for on site lookups. Before that, it was only usable on a desktop. The site has helped me find and price some very unique items. I am hoping to see more improvements before my subscription expires.
