Totally inconsistent – they said that due to underwriting criteria change they could not renew the landlord insurance on my UK property because I lived abroad, whilst they had no problems in renewing the landlord policy on my other UK property with them knowing that I lived abroad….

I hope any claims experience will be better than the signing up experience. I went all through the process to payment and you INSISTED I fill in the box to say what relationship I was to the insured! I am the insured, but nothing would work (and your so-called "LIVE CHAT" that is unmanned and therefore not live also availed me nothing) until I put in the word "wife"! Why do I have to call myself someone's wife? I am the insured! Bonkers.

"Good, but slipping a bit."
Have used Just Landlords for many years. It's still good value for money, but quality has slipped since the takeover by Gallagher. You can no longer renew a policy over the phone (why ever not??), and the website needs redesigning: there is no prominent "Pay now" button. Also, the address for the property you're renewing does not appear on the first page; you have to hunt for it – a bit annoying if you have more than one property.

thought I'd avoided this lot, but no, I give up and will continue to search for 'cheaper' quotes. This lot replaced rentguard which charged £100/year since 2007 then upped the pricing to 250, so i fell into this lot. still looking...............
