"Albania Encompassed"
This was our first trip with Wild Frontiers and with the assistance of our guide and driver left Albania with amazing memories of incredible scenery, fabulous food and friendly people. The days were full and busy but we covered a lot of ground, from the northern regions and their mountains, the beautiful coastal towns and their beaches and through to the UNESCO towns of Gjirokaster and Berat. Our guide, Tedi, was informative, thoughtful and personable and very enthusiastic about telling our group of 12 about his country. Most meals were included and were of a high standard showcasing local dishes. Highly recommended.

"Central Asia with Wild Frontiers"
We traveled with WILD FRONTIERS to Uzbekistan and it was an amazing voyage. Bukhara, Samarkand, Khiva, Tashkent.... From the planning phases, to answer to our various requests, and receiving the detailed agenda. The trip was smooth and the guide was incredibly knowledgeable. It was an unforgettable trip and I recommend Wild Frontiers to all my peers.

"Trip to Ladakh and Kashmir, India"
In June 2024, I took a wonderful trip to Ladakh and Kashmir, India with Wild Frontiers.
The trip was fantastic in all respects. In particular, our tour leaders did everything possible to facilitate a trip such that we would see and learn as much as possible about these beautiful lands, cultures and people. Abhi, our group leader, and Tashi, our local leader throughout Ladakh, were both outstanding ambassadors on behalf of India and Wild Frontiers.
While most Americans have heard of Kashmir, it’s very rare for an American to know of the large, important region of Ladakh. Yet, in my opinion, Ladakh is one of the unknown wonders of the world and our Wild Frontiers’ leaders did a fabulous job of introducing us to this beautiful, historic and fascinating region. Indeed, while I initially signed up for this trip in order to visit Kashmir, I ended up falling in love even more with the people, land and culture of Ladakh.
For some context, I have traveled extensively throughout the world for the past 50 years. I mention this primarily to suggest that I have a lot of experience and perspective from which to evaluate Wild Frontiers and this trip.
While I loved our trip from start to finish, it wasn’t always easy traveling. This is not surprising given that we were riding on very difficult, unpaved roads throughout some of the world’s highest mountain ranges. While visiting the fascinating, historic Buddhist monasteries, we were usually climbing steps at elevations exceeding 11,000 feet. We even crossed mountain passes at 18,000 feet. Despite some of these expected challenges, our leaders at Wild Frontiers went out of their way to make our travels as rewarding, easy and comfortable as possible.
I want to conclude by saying how impressed I’ve been with the Wild Frontiers staff during the past few months. Initially, I worked with Alice and Francesca to register for this trip. They were extremely welcoming and eager to answer my various questions. As I’ve already indicated, Abhi and Tashi were outstanding leaders during our actual trip. Then, upon my return home, I was pleasantly surprised that Emma, yet another wonderful Wild Frontiers ambassador, reached out to me to solicit my honest feedback about my trip.
In my opinion, this kind of customer service and close personal attention from start to finish is the sign of a very high-quality organization and helps to differentiate Wild Frontiers from many other travel organizations. Given my very favorable experiences, it is very easy for me to endorse Wild Frontiers and their fantastic trip to Ladakh and Kashmir. As you would expect, I look forward to taking another trip with them soon.

"Wild Frontiers' 3-week trip to Madagascar"
I recently joined the 3-week "Madagascar Encompassed" trip and thoroughly enjoyed it. The tour leader (Patrick) and the drivers (Nata and Mimi) for our group of six were excellent in every respect - professional, friendly, helpful and a delight to be with. I have travelled with Wild Frontiers a few times now, have always been very pleased with them, and have already booked my next trip with them again.
I also appreciated the fact that there were no hidden extras - everything was clear from the start.
I am happy to strongly recommend Wild Frontiers to anyone who wants to visit places that are a bit remote in a small group of like-minded travellers.

"Do you really want to go to remote places."
Having travelled with Wild Frontiers on several occasions, I have always received excellent service from people who know their business and their destinations. My latest trip was for 3 weeks to Madagascar. All questions were answered quickly, thoroughly, and effectively.
There are no unexpected expenses as all meals, usually at local restaurants, are included. Time isn’t wasted frequently changing money. The only extras are personal spending money. (Inc. Tips)
I have had many wonderful experiences with Wild Frontiers often to places that really are off the beaten track.

"Wild Frontiers tour to Kyrgyzstan & Ubekistan"
The Wild Frontiers tour to Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan was exceptional. I gained a thorough knowledge of these two quite different countries – the former with dramatic mountain scenery and the latter full of history. Our guide, Richard, ensured everything ran smoothly and local guide, Nilufar, in Uzbekistan was a fount of knowledge as I learnt so much about the history of the region. The historic sights in Khiva, Bukhara and Samarkand are truly amazing and another highlight was hiking to the 4,100m summit at Tash Rabat in Kyrgyzstan. I am already recommending both Wild Frontiers and a trip to this part of the world to friends and family. I may well return.

"Poor online experience"
I have always been happy with my travel arrangements through Wild Frontiers but there is something really wrong with the portal. Either the MY ACCOUNT section is not working or something else is wrong. At the moment, the password RESET link is not working

"Wild Frontiers trip to Northern Pakistan"
Wild Frontiers' first hand knowledge, expertise and advice meant we were able to get the best out of our trip to Northern Pakistan. It was our second trip with them and there really is no one better for travelling to this part of the world.

"Misleading itinerary"
Misleading itinerary, made us drive 8 hours somewhere just to sleep somewhere, only to drive back to the exact same place the next day, terrible experience and would not recommend at all

"Wonderful walking in Accursed Mountains, Albania"
This trip was everything we hoped for - challenging but manageable walking, and stunning scenery. Albania is very beautiful and very interesting.
We had a great guide, and the Wild Frontiers office staff were very helpful as we planned our trip.
This was our first trip with Wild Frontiers but hopefully not our last.
