Another excellent experience with Lawsons; my favourite online shop!

"Delivery Time"

Delivery took over a week and an email to Lawsons with regard to my order has been ignored. It was only a packet of sunflower seeds but at £1.99 postage I would have thought it would be Royal Mail 1st class.

"Beautiful mugs"

I was able to choose from a large selection of brilliant colours and bought 4. The mugs were competitively priced and arrived safely and promptly. The packaging was excellent.

"Ordered a whistling kettle."

Easy and no hassle order. Arrived promptly and in perfect condition.

Our only suggestion is don't use Evri/Hermes for shipping because they are next to useless as a courier company.

Great range of products at excellent prices. I was kept updated regularly after placing my order and it arrived very quickly. Everything was well packaged to prevent breakages using a recycled box, which I was very pleased to see. I'd definitely buy from them again and highly recommend to others.

"Great yeast"

This yeast fermented this year's grape harvest to 0 in less than a week and produced a very well balanced wine. I look forward to tasting it when it has matured - it should be a cracker!

"8 mini springform tins probably already used for display or ex-returns."

I ordered 8 mini springform cake tins to use as pie moulds. Delivery was speedy - even for Hermes - and well packaged. However, on opening I discovered that the two boxes each containing 4 tins had bad torn marks and had been previously opened (in the shop, ex display??) and each tin was outside it's polythene wrapper, with each wrapper simply stuffed inside. Finally, of the 8 springform tins, one was unable to seal the loose bottom base to itself (had it previously been forced?). It will be fine for pastry, but useless for quiche or sponges. 7 out of 8 is fine - not worth the effort of returning, but very disappointing. Clearly I had been sent a previous 'returned' item, or one which had been damaged in display.

I ordered le creuset mugs in colours I couldn’t get elsewhere & at an unbeatable price. I topped up the order with small baking items in the sale. The sale item was out of stock, I was immediately informed & refunded & the other items arrived speedily & safely. Very happy with the service. I will definitely use them again.

Seriously companies like this should not be allowed to trade! Ordered a bath sheet and received a bath towel. Sent email to customer service. Mail bounced back with error code. Filled out online form and received acknowledgment that they would look into the matter. A week later and no word. What sort of world do we live in where customer service does not exist. Quick enough to take your money.
