"Superb service"

Wow, this shop is as magic as the day it opened a century ago.
The customer service is superb even on a weekend and naturally the product are top quality.
I've always loved Lawsons and always will.

Very prompt service with full tracking details. My items (enamelware) arrived in perfect condition, packaged in a recycled cardboard box and wrapped in used cardboard for extra protection. Reasonable prices too. Highly recommendable.

I haven't shopped here before, and I was hugely impressed! I will definitely make a point of buying here again. A lovely range of products, well priced, and they were packed with exceptional care (much better packed than most online shops) and delivered very quickly. A great experience!

"Great customer service"

Christmas tree stand arrived damaged but really helpful with resolving the issue and great customer service. My only complaint would be that first time sending they used parcelforce who were the most unreliable delivery company. But second time around used Hermes who were great.

"Staff attitude"

I’m writing this the day after an instore visit to the Totnes branch, so not in the mild irritation that it generated at the time. We went to see a relatively expensive branded sale item in person having read the delivery reviews on here. We found it, and made some enquiries of a less than enthusiastic sales lady as to other sizes (we answered this question ourselves by stepping outside again to get mobile reception and search online) and then had a look around to see if we needed anything else, a delay which seemed to cause some impatience. Two attempts to pay by American Express were met by a rather gleeful announcement to the rest of the entire store that both my cards had been declined. Sneered at until I tried a MasterCard, I then wondered aloud if they actually accepted Amex? No, but that couldn’t be pointed out beforehand apparently. Out into the torrential rain with a cast iron 5L casserole and lid in a thin cardboard box and it’s rapidly disintegrating receipt in my hands, so I went back in and asked for a bag. Yes, 50p please. But it was made also made of paper. If it wasn’t for the great price I wouldn’t have bothered.

"Potentially Christmas-destroying service"

Thoroughly disappointing, and potentially Christmas-destroying service. I ordered a much-desired Christmas gift for my wife, and received the order confirmation. A week and a half later, I'm idly checking my credit card statement, and I notice my payment to Lawsons was returned in full a few days after my order. No explanation, and no reason I could see as far as my credit card was concerned (plenty of space, no blocks, other purchases made successfully since, etc). Because I wasn't sent an email to let me know this was happening, I now have no chance to get the gift on time for Christmas. I phoned, left a message, and didn't hear back. I emailed, and haven't heard back. Now I've gone to the site and seen the item I ordered is "Out of Stock". Would've been good to know this earlier, and I may never have known if I hadn't had a chance look down my credit card transactions. Will certainly never be visiting this website again.

place a order went well e mail of conformation ok the breakdown of the charges where ?? paid £5.50 for delivery which is royal mail 48 hour delivery with sign for what have i got (hermes who still have my parcel from Lawsons which is a £3.99 service since thursday wont see this item till tuesday LOOKS LIKE LAWSONS

I bought an aerator. It doesn’t work properly. I emailed to return it. Had a missed call from Becky. I work nights so can’t answer in the day. I emailed her back twice now with no reply.

"I saw a le creuset casserole on line…"

I saw a le creuset casserole on line reduced by Lawsons for half price . I was rushing and myself and very elderly parent are renewing my parents 45 year old
Le Creuset . I ordered quickly , on arrival it was not Le Creuset .I and my elderly parents have been in lockdown since march 2020 .We dont go out , have no printer and my mum who has had covid which has left her with an inability to walk and has a terminal illness still prides herself on her home . They wont help me return I would have exchanged for le creuset , if they had helped .I have no close family and already stressed at the immensity of care I am giving to my parents . I found the attitude unhelpful and during this covid time no assistance ,just it is your responsibility.Someone mis represented lawsons on google
