My first-ever contact with YGP.
Denny was extremely helpful in sending contract details and later, following up with a larger-format copy.
As a local village hall we are looking forward to moving to YGP and making a meaningful savings on our present contract.

" Customer Service Experience "

I am writing this review in relation to the abhorrent treatment of a person grieving the very recent loss of their mother who was the account holder.
Despite having informed YPG of the circumstances providing a copy of the death certificate and sending subsequent emails this has resulted in generic responses that are not relevant to the circumstances already explained in depth and offered no resolution in concluding the account held by deceased person. Further and serious distress has now been caused following overdue account emails that have been sent to the deceased person via their email address. The automated responses and total lack of compassion is absolutely shameful.
Navigating the restricted options in actually speaking to anybody that can actively assist are in no way helpful. This company is driven by cold automated collection with a customer service that doesn't deserve a single star despite their marketing attempts to convince you otherwise.

"New account setup untidy but email response good"

Good and useful responses to emails from the response team, rather let down by untidy invoicing over the first several months:
- Smart meter not recognised by YGP billing
- So estimated readings used,
- That resulted in CCL being charged on a month in which it was thought usage was over 33kwh per day, when it was not.
- VAT exemption not set up initially
The email response team has responnded to all this promptly and effectively, but YGP overall could have prevented these problems on a new account.
