"Superb quality and craftsmanship."

We've been remodeling our house for 4 months. There have been plenty of ups and downs in the process. One of the most Pleasant parts of this experience was dealing with Cherry Tree Design. Their staff was wonderful to work with and the quality of their product was more than we expected. We are trying to figure out how to implement more of their products into our home design. I definitely would recommend them to anyone.

"Excellent product and support"

Our shoji was built and delivered just as specified and arrived on time and in perfect condition. We are more than pleased with the result, especially the superb craftsmanship. I worked with Bev Piette from beginning to end--from design details to paperwork to shipping--and she was knowledgable and helpful throughout. My installer only had experience with traditional pocket doors and needed an example of the wheels to mount the shelf and track ahead of the shoji's arrival. Bev promptly sent out a pair of wheels the same day, Friday, and we had them on Monday--a big help to my installer and typical of the excellent service I received.

Shoji are sturdy and exactly the size we requested. Brackets and rollers are well designed.

"Beautiful addition to my bedroom!"

Gorgeous door. Well packaged. Slightly damaged, but was able to reinsert the paper into the frame.
Company was willing to replace, but I kept it as is because I was able to fix it.
Installation was tricky, since I had to remove molding above doorway to get it to hang low enough. Once that was done, everything went smoothly. High quality hardware included. Easily leveled, squared and plumbed.

I deal with a lot of vendors and craftsman as a professional at a design-build firm, and my experiences with Cherry Tree Design have been nothing but professional, informative and reliable. The price quotes we receive from Bev are always comprehensive, and she seems to always be available for any questions or configuration discussions. I am also happy to say that they keep us informed each step of the way on our order so that we know exactly when we'll receive it and can schedule accordingly. Our discerning clients are always happy with the quality of the Shoji doors in our projects, which is really saying a lot. After dealing with them for almost 10 years, I can say with certainty that Cherry Tree Design is truly an exceptional company.

"Exactly what I have envisioned"

Bev was very helpful in ordering process. delivery was quick however the door was not in the package. Bev contacted the shipping comepany and tracked down the door. When it arrived, the door was very well protected and packed. Installation was easy (we have a professional carpenter to do the installation). The finish and craftmenship was beautiful. It looks amazing in my Japanese tea house.

I love my screens and I love the service that they provided. they were very helpful on the phone, and helped me decide what I needed. The color And screen choices were perfect. Everything turned out the way I wanted it to. I have wanted shoji screens for a long time and finally have them in my house and love the way they look. "Great but could be better."

The screen arrived with the paper pushed up on two panels. It was packed very well so I think it was a shipper issue. The Valence was not cut and mitered to size. I found this disappointing. I had a friend that was a excellent woodworker with a miter and corner clamps. I would expect at this price it would have been finished. Every other thing was fine.

"Great Customer Service -Product Needed A Little More Attention"

The process of placing the order was extremely professional and Bev was excellent to work with. We had issues, however, with door jambs arriving without stops, shoji doors arriving with "B" sides of the wood not matching the rest of the doors. We also experienced some damage during shipping, but I only hold Cherry Tree Design responsible for 10% of this.
