"Poor customer service"

My bag came with an invalid authentication code. I have since called on three occasions to try and resolve this matter each time I was told that they would make enquiries and contact me. It is now over one month and so far no one has bothered to do so.

Absolutely terrible service. Do not sell your items via this shop. Terrible communication, they will not answers emails or WhatsApp’s once they have your item. Shocking service. They still have my bag yet removed from the website and will not give an update.

Good products and better prices than other resell sites - just difficult to get a response via WhatsApp and email - especially if returning and item in a seven day window.

"Avoid a purchase at all costs "

I bought a Chanel bag from SOTT and after a handful of uses and a little over a year of having said Chanel bag, the Chanel hardware fell off. SOTT were less than helpful via email, agreed to pay to repair and went on to rescind said promise (classy)

They also recommended to use The Handbag Clinic, a repair service that would void any remaining Chanel warranty, therefore causing my bag to be irreparable by Chanel in the future. (Handbag experts are they?!)

They ignored my emails during a 6 month period and the email was only picked up when I forwarded the thread to the owner (shock)

At this stage I have since paid for the repair myself as it wasn’t important enough to SOTT to reply to let alone repair.

It is clear they do not deem customers important and once a sale has been made the customer is then discarded to the side.

Do not shop with them if you want to know your handbag may be looked after have an issue in the future - save your money and shop another second hand retailer who will have both grace and decorum and critical thinking skills on how to handle customer service.

I purchased the bag online and was told the order was going to take 3-5 business day to process and that I could then pick it up in store. After 3-5 business days have passed I have asked for updates on the status of my order and the customer service told me they were sorry and were going to prioritise my order. However, I did not receive any updates in the following days despite reaching out to customer service again with NO response. At this point I went to the shop directly (it was 10 days after my purchase), the bag was there, still on display...... the lady said they were very sorry and was nice with me but I was definitely NOT happy with the experience I had.

"AVOID if you are selling"

Poor selling outlet - AVOID. No response to emails, texts, calls. I requested my unsold items be returned to me rather than be marked down and they sold an item anyway. I have sold goods for decades in London and this is nowhere I would recommend. All instagram, no proper business practices.

I have enjoyed popping in to Sign of the Times over the years. This time I felt compelled to write a review as I had such an enjoyable experience, the sales staff are much more professional, one girl in particular was so personable and had an amazing knowledge of fashion for her age. I really trusted her to help me. I highly recommend this store they have incredible designer pre loved clothes.
