"I recently visited Sign of Times three…"

I recently visited Sign of Times three times in the span of two weeks, hoping if I gave them a chance my experience the first time would not be the same. Unfortunately, I was met with horrendous customer service each time.

From the outset, the staff was discourteous and, frankly, rude. I noticed a disturbing pattern: other customers, particularly those who were not brown, were greeted warmly and offered assistance, while I was ignored. The only friendly interaction I had was with the security guard.

During my first visit, I stood waiting for 15 minutes just to discuss consigning my Gucci and Zimmermann items. Frustrated, I ultimately left and chose to list my items with Reflaunt Net a Porter instead. On my second visit, I brought in brand new items but was told they weren't acceptable for resale, despite seeing similar items from the same brands in the shop.

The attitude of the sales staff was shocking. It felt as if they were friends or family of the owner, which may explain their unprofessional behavior. In any other retail environment, such conduct would likely lead to termination.

I strongly recommend seeking out other resellers for better service. I will not return to Sign of Times, nor would I suggest their services for purchasing or reselling items.

I’ve shopped from sign of the times a few times and have always had a great experience! Their collection is amazing, products are kept really well and the team is very helpful. I would highly recommend!
