"Poor quality- difficult to return"

The chairs received were poor quality and rocked back and forth. I have been trying to return them for over 2 weeks now and have been made to jump through many hoops and now they don’t even respond to me

The customer service team was great in getting back to me very promptly to ensure my refund was being processed as the room chair we returned was too dark so we look forward to ordering the lighter chair to suit our room. We loved the quality.

Unfair customer treatment and horrendous quality -

We purchased the faux wood table chair set on the Thorvald a design website on the 6th of March 2025. On arrival, we opened up the packages that were undamaged. Inside of the first package that we opened was damaged items. We were immediately unhappy with the quality of the product and therefore packaged this back up. We did not bother opening the other two boxes as we were unhappy with the original quality of the first one. We therefore called Customer Service who informed us that we should return the items as well as fill out a claim form. Once we returned the items, we had to pay the shipping costs to return this which equated to £53. We therefore filled out the claim form to be told that our claim to get our money back on the shipping costs was going to be rejected due to it being a direct transaction between us and the courier service. We attached the receipt showing the shipping costs and highlighting the tracking numbers however they are still refusing to give us our money back for something that was never our fault.

This is disgraceful treatment of your customers and I hope that other customers are fully aware prior to purchasing from your company

Absolutely dreadful company . NEVER ORDER FROM THEM !! A DISGRACE, items they send are inferior crap not fit for purpose.
And really rust in emails when you try to resolve the problem.
They charge 15 pounds for posting a light piece of fabric that was vacuumed packed in a bag size 6 by 6 inches if that . They are scammers and refuse to give me my money back in full .
They con you by the marketing and the rug I received was synthetic piece of rubbish just a square cloth claiming to be a rug !!
Don’t let them get your money be warned !! Disgraceful
