I am pleased with the hd self levelling compound, it was straight forward to lay and looks good. I did find that it sets a lot faster than anticipated even though the floor was dampened before start, and had a few marks left from the pin roller on the first bucket full because I left it too long before rolling it. I have sanded these smooth as soon as I was able to walk on the floor before it had got too hard.

Problems with Resin Direct telephone system meant it was difficult to make contact. In the end I emailed and they came straight back to me. Very helpful and knowledgeable people. Just finished applying the last coat (the colour/wear coat). Looks very high quality stuff. Definitely needs a heavy duty mixer. Coverage (on a newly concreted floor) was slightly better than stated. Drying time longer than stated (probably due to overnight cold).

Delivery was fast. Delivery driver rather difficult and ill mannered - suspect he had a very large van and couldn't access our domestic property so ended up carrying the stuff 100 yds. I guess Resins Direct are mostly supplying industrial customers.
