The ring shopping experience at Harper Tait was by far the best from all the jewellers we visited. As soon as we had our first appointment, my partner and I knew we’d found our jeweller.
Paul, the owner, is incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to go through all pros and cons of our options which made it easy to narrow down what we wanted. We never felt pressured into any decisions and then he was so patient with my constant amendments to the design.
The finished product is more than I could’ve hoped for and I constantly get compliments on it. Ring shopping can be overwhelming but Paul made it a breeze, we’re so grateful to have found them!

I cannot speak highly enough of the service, professionalism and quality that Paul and his team at Harper Tait provide. I was blown away by the level of knowledge that Paul possessed and it was a genuine pleasure seeing someone so skilled and passionate about their craft talk me through the process. I was delighted with the ring we selected and needless to say my fiancée was also. The service and responsiveness I received throughout the process was excellent and prices were more competitive than similar jewellers I had visited previously. Went to see Paul at harper Tait with my at the time my soon to be finance, when we arrived the level of service and hospitality he gave us was truly amazing. On top of that he went through in fine detail of the engagement ring that my partner wanted whilst educating us on everything in terms of the band, diamonds, bezel etc leaving no stone left unturned. I learnt so much this day on rings! It was then a no brainier for me to go with harper Tait in creating the perfect engagement ring for my finance. When going back once the ring was made after seeing it I was blown away it was perfect! A piece of art it truly is. I have now proposed and my finance was blown away with the ring she loves it and can’t stop staring at it! Before going to Paul, we had visited high street retailers but always left feeling disappointed and as such, I was quite anxious for the appointment. There was no need for this, however, because the service provided was next to none. The level of professionalism and knowledge shared with us throughout the journey was amazing and Paul was always happy to listen to all of my specific needs and wishes. The communication provided was always clear and Paul was happy for us to have several visits before deciding on the 'one'. When receiving the ring, I was amazed at not only how beautiful it was but also the quality and all of the documentation that comes alongside it. I really can't recommend Paul enough!

Yes jewellery is a luxury item, but the buying process contributes immensely to the luxury experience. It was a bit daunting starting off the process of looking for an engagement ring with so many options but I'm extremely happy that we chose Harper Tait.

Paul is obviously super passionate and knowledgeable about the whole process and made it easy for my partner and I to understand in our meeting. Paul was really responsive to calls and emails throughout and we couldn't be happier with the ring.

We will definitely be returning to Harper Tait again for our wedding bands!
