Terrible Customer Service
LMS got in touch with me after I put message out on another site regarding any garage that can fix/replace my automatic gearbox…after having my car diagnosed by different garages and spending almost £300 I wasn’t prepared to pay again for another test…customer service promised me that I won’t be charged regardless of the outcome meaning if I choose to do the work with them or not…anyway fast forward one week after dropping my car off they’ve still not been able to quote me for the job.
Eventually when they did I was quoted £8000+ for the job (laughable) bearing in mind I’ve had quotes for £3000 and the only reason I took my car to LMS is that they promised to beat my previous quote.
I then received a message asking me to collect my car by 3pm on the same day if I’m not going ahead with the job as they will closed for a week. I then received a call advising me to pick my car by the same time otherwise it will be left outside the garage as it’s EID next week the garage will be closed. I took a chance with this garage even after reading some of the dreadful reviews posted.
Please avoid this garage if you value your mental health!

I asked LMS to fix my Honda Jazz auto gearbox, they told me I needed extensive diagnostic and they charged me 110 + 336 for gear box service. Slipping gears improved slightly. I then took it to another mechanic for airbag light fix. They did full diagnostic and told me about fault codes which showed worn clutch which LMS didn't inform me about. When I asked for refund for diagnostic they refused. If I'd known about clutch I wouldn't have paid for gearbox service as pointless. Very unhappy.

"Windscreen replacement "

At first the service seemed very good. The 'sale representative' was great on WhatsApp and the communication was good. But once my windscreen was replaced the problems began. The wrong glass was installed, although at first I said there wasn't a rain sensor, I took a photo/video and sent to the 'sale representative' before the glass was ordered, showing that there was. The rear vision mirror wasn't replaced properly, leaving the car unsafe to drive and there were shards of glass all over the seats and dashboard. After contacting LMS they told me that it was a subcontractor that put the glass in, he denies doing anything wrong, and it's not down to them to fix anything. Even after reminding 'sale representative' that my contract is with them, not the third party. (I eventually worked out how to fix the issue myself, but the radios never worked as well as it did before LMS were involved.)
Supposedly I was going to get a call from their customer service team, but that never eventuated. Overall I had a very poor experience, to be fair I should have checked the work before the third party left, but I was working and sadly trusted LMS. I would never recommend going anywhere near them.
