Awful customer service. Avoid and find an alternative supplier!

To add to this, they issued a refund for items they were unable to fulfil despite showing stock on their site. The issued refund has still not been received after 7 days. Due to the way they have processed it with PayPal it will take a minimum of 10 days up to over 30 days. Considering they have refunded this due to their stocking issue the refund should have been back with me within the usual 3-5 days PayPal refund period; which I am assured by PayPal would have been possible if they had refund the transaction correctly.
Your customer service team weren’t that bothered when they called me about this, so it is funny that you are so bothered after I have posted this publicly for others to see and know to stay clear of you.

As per your phone call you stated that you noticed the stock issue on the Friday 24th but only notified me on the 27th.
The way you issue refunds is not beyond your control, it is entirely within your control. The way you processed the refund is what has caused the delay.
I have been issued refunds through eBay and Shopify before and they have arrived same day. Maybe contact PayPal for advice if you are not aware how to process refunds more proactively.
The issue is with you every step of the way. You’d do better taking responsibility for your errors rather than getting rude and defensive, trying to pass the blame.

"I had an problem with one of my alarm…"
I had an problem with one of my alarm sensors, so I gave them a call to see how soon they could call around to take a look. I was very pleased when they said the in one day's time as they had a small time slot free. I was told that there was a £60 call out fee if they can repair it but if not there will be no charge. As it happened I did order a PIR on line which arrived that morning, when they arrived they found out which PIR was faulty and fitted the new one,all with in 30 mins. There workmanship an quality was on the highest level so much so we have decided to update all our house PIR's and up grade our cctv camera's. Thanks Kev and his son.

In short – very happy with this purchase and would readily buy from CCTV DIRECT UK again.
Having been let down by a different and unscrupulous online supplier I did plenty of research into CCTV DIRECT UK and was satisfied that the company is genuine, it has over 1.3k reviews on Trustpilot and they are overwhelmingly positive too (94% with 4 or 5 stars). Nevertheless when spending hundreds of pounds with a supplier you’ve not previously used (and given my previous experience) it can feel like a leap of faith; but it was worth taking.
I’m very pleased to say that my trust in CCTV DIRECT UK was not misplaced.
Delivery: I ordered online Thursday evening (qualifying for the Free 3 day delivery). DHL delivered the following Tuesday morning. DHL had taken good care of the well packaged items and all of the contents were as ordered and in good New condition.
Price: The DVR price was competitive and the BOGOF deal on the ColorVu cameras enabled a significant upgrade at a really good price point.
Setup: The system was up and running in a couple of hours and is working well. A really good upgrade to a Hikvision 2MP DVR and camera system from 2016.
