"Terrible customer service"

Terrible customer service. I ordered a wardrobe from this company that never actually ever came. I was called the day before it was meant to arrive and was told that " the order had failed". I was given no information about when to expect it and when it was finally ready to be delivered, over 2 weeks later, the company would not offer any compromise for the delivery.
They only suggestion they could give was that either I or a member of my family took more time off work or that I cancelled the order..

Another week passed and I was told that they still didn't know when the wardrobe was going to be delivered, they couldn't even assure me it would be before Christmas.

My first an only experience of this company is that it has appalling customer service and little or take no responsibility for correcting their own failings. An awful company I would avoid at all costs.

"This is an update on my previous…"

This is an update on my previous review. We had another wardrobe door delivered, this being number 7, and once again the door is warped. The delivery guys took it away and put the other door back on and now that is even more warped. Decided to go to The Benson for Beds showrooms that we purchased the wardrobes from and looking at them in the store the same door is warped. This is obviously a major problem with the manufacturers and the man at Benson said that he had never noticed it before. My advice is do not buy from this company.

"Shockingly bad"

Shockingly bad, please try and take note where you furniture comes from before you buy. We purchased the Kingstown signature range in cream from the stockist 'At home furnishings', the delivery men damaged the wardrobe and the fittings in the house while attempting to get it in. As soon you look at the furniture you can see that parts of it are significantly darker in patches, one door is even almost white and the others are cream. We thought this, must just be a fault with the one we had. We subsequently had another 2 ordered to the warehouse and built which had exactly the same issue. We were talked into purchasing from At Home Furnishings as they said if we had any issues they would be quickly resolved, rather than if we ordered online. This has not been the case, we have had an ongoing saga for over 6 months, Kingstown have completely dismissed speaking to us at all and we have been refused compensation for all of the trouble we have had even tough they have had our money for over 6 months and we have had their shody furniture. Stay away from both of these companies at costs.

"Let me share a cautionary tale"

Let me share a cautionary tale. Five years ago I purchased a two over three Kingstown bedroom chest of drawers from Dreams, the bedroom specialists. It carried a two year guarantee from Dreams which I accepted. Five years down the line the veneer from the sides of the chest has cracked and begun to peel off. It has not been placed near heater or anything like that and I know that I accepted the guarantee period but is a mere five year life for a piece of bedroom furniture that was not cheap, acceptable? I think not. Needless to say when I approached Dreams about the problem they simply said that I had exceeded the warranty and it was nothing to do with them. When I approached Kingstown they simply said that they no longer manufactured furniture for Dreams and I had exceeded the warranty and did not want to know. I am not losing sleep over this because I accept that customer service and quality of goods in this country is now batting zero and is unlikely to get better and the good old days ain't ever coming back (I'm nearly 80) so I havn't got the time or inclination to get angry about stuff like this but I would recommend that every person and their dog avoid both Dreams and Kingston like the plague ! Have a nice day.

"Ordered furniture via Argos,received…"

Ordered furniture via Argos,received 29th of August.There was an issue with 2 drawers.Many phone calls later,consisting of long periods of holding on due to high call volumes(This is the customer complaints department.....not a good sign)I finally got my delivery and surprise surprise wrong item sent.No urgency was attached to my order and new drawers were supposed to come 23rd October,55 days after original delivery.This is crap customer service.Steer clear of this company.

"Avoid at all costs"

Completely agree with the below reviews. I would highly recommend avoiding purchasing any products from this company. They do not offer any customer service or assistance and will miss delivery dates, a complete ripoff of a company. If you have been unfortunate enough to purchase products with them it would be advisable to check if you did so on a credit card so you can reverse payment due to their inability to provide the services they charge for. Sorry for anybody else who has had the misfortune to waste money with this farcical company.

"Already left one poor review"

Already left one poor review. To which the manager replied and has promised to ring back twice. Still waiting for two sets of drawers, still have one wardrobe waiting for door to be realigned. Nearly two months on. Between Argos and this company, non existent customer sales!

"Absolutely awful company ordered…"

Absolutely awful company ordered through Very and was let down by this supplier twice!!! No communication I had to do all the chasing to see where My Furniture was. Do not order from these they are the biggest disapointment you’ll ever come across.
