"Discraceful service"
Discraceful service, do not use. We placed an order on the 29th December and we are still waiting for the right bits to come. We've had missing bits, the wrong colour doors, broken doors, stayed in for a delivery that didnt even turn up.... 4 attempts this year. Shockingly if I ring in they are very unhelpful and say I have to wait weeks for another delivery slot. Even when I have spoken this week to confirm I am away the next 2 weekends I have last night been informed they have booked in to deliver this weekend. Ive waited in 4 weekends now and feel they are not being helpful as wasted alot of mine and my families time. How we cant have a working complete wardobe in nearly 4 months is silly. Awful behaviour from a company and I soon will be taking greater action. Its criminal. We paid for the goods last year. No one is being helpful in just getting this sorted on the phone and sounds like they dont care about the service.

"Terrible quality"
Purchased from Very, delivery times were a joke. Sideboard was delivered and he top drawer was wonky, complained and in all fairness was sent another, this top drawer is wonky and a lovely chip out of the corner absolutely shocking! I am now waiting for a manager to call me back, they asked if I want a replacement again, I’ve taken time off work a number of time due to the delivery dates changing. It was supposed to arrive today 19/02/2018 got a phone call last night to say it was on its way, had to rush out of work! Totally not acceptable, is there a furniture ombudsman I can complain to?

They sent a new one, that was damaged, still waiting on another one AGAIN!

"Not a recent purchase, but a purchase for life."
Not a recent purchase, but a purchase for life. In 2006, when I still lived 'at home', my parents bought me items from the Signature collection and to this day, they still look as good as they did the day they bought them. The design always gets lovely comments and I don't think I'll ever change them. They've been with me now in 3 different homes. Two years ago I got in touch with Kingstown's customer service team with an enquiry about one of the drawers and the service I received was second to none. Thank you!

"Worset company I have ever dealt with"
Worset company I have ever dealt with. Bought some stuff from furniture village for my flat in Bournemouth. However all the delivery arrangments were Kingstown responsibility .
First agreed to be delivered on Sunday the 14th Jan 2018 between 8am and 1pm but i had a phone call from the driver at 4:30pm on the same delivery day, saying that he had a car crash the day before and he couldn't make it. I felt sorry for the driver but this should have been communicated so i didn't have to come all the way from london especially for this.
Then agreed to be delivered on Saturday the 3rd Feb 2018 .. Driver arrived with a van the size of the bus ... which he refused to park it on the main road and made an excuse that he couldn't get to my property because there were 2 cars parked on the each side of the road. He refused to compromised on suggested ways to get the furniture to my buidling. His attiude were terible and left and drove back to Hull with my furniture.
I had a phone call from Kingstown to organize another delivery and another awful customer service. No apologies what so ever.
It's been 3 weeks since I requested the refund and honestly nothing received so far.
Please think twice before you approaching this awful company.

"Quality furniture and best customer service"
Had my beautiful 3 door wardrobe and bedside cabinet with bedside chests from the Signature range for about 8 years and have been very pleased with them, still look good as new. Following house move the wardrobe hinges were lost I contacted customer service at Kingston Furniture and they provided me with new hinges within 3 days of my phone call. Best customer service ever. Thank you so much Carol Booth.

"Terrible quality"
Purchased two quad wardrobes, two bedside cabinets and a stool from benson for beds from the ‘Fairmont’ range. This range looks lovely in store, however the quality of products I received from the manufacturer, Kingstown, was awful. I sent the items straight back with the delivery driver and cancelled the whole order. Considering the price, the quality of the products is not acceptable. Argos/ikea furniture would be much better and cheaper!

"Terrible"
We purchased 2 bedside chests and a larger chest from Kingstown via Leekes of Coventry. We paid almost £1,000 for these plus £60 delivery. All went well until the items were delivered and the delivery people took the chests out of their boxes to find the drawer handles with one unit were different to the other two chests. He screwed the wrong handles on anyway and they left saying the correct handles would be put in the post.
I telephoned Kingstown (this was a mistake as I should have telephoned Leekes). The person who answered the phone was off hand and said the correct knobs would be sent in 3 - 5 working days. Annoyed at the delay I sent Kingstown an email saying surely the knobs could be sent that day. No response so I sent another email. No response.
We then rang Leekes who telephoned Kingstown who told them they would post the knobs on 4th December. So far we have not received them. Four days so far since delivery of our order.
The Kingstown Chairman says on their website “We pride ourselves on delivering a personalised, customised service to each of our customers”. He is obviously unaware of the way the Company is being run at present. It is all very unprofessional as witnessed by most of the reviews on here.

"Terrible customer service from Kingstown furniture Hull"
Purchased £1800 worth of furniture from dfs, was given 28th November between 12 noon and 19.30 for delivery and assembly. Was called by a manager Vanessa at 17.20 to say that drivers could not make it today as they were out of ‘driving time’.how she got to the out of driving time when I had another 2 hours and ten minutes left on my slot is absolutely disgraceful, i got rid of old wardrobes, cleared the room as requested, have clothes all over the place but she would not budge. Tried to call her back this morning and Vanessa would not come to the phone and after complaining to dfs, they also have had trouble trying to speak to her, she just gives messages to a young girl to pass on. I’m no further forward with delivery of the furniture and the attitude of Vanessa the manager who couldn’t care less of any of the customers views should really be addressed by the various directors Michael Sharp and Richard Sharp.

"Just received my new Kingstown Cosmos …"
Just received my new Kingstown Cosmos wardrobes and chests, delighted with the service from start to finish, the wardrobes wouldn’t fit so the drivers
dis-assembled them and took them upstairs before reassembly. Fitted the shelves although this is not part of the service, all I need to do was fill the wardrobe with clothes! If shopping tomorrow, Amazing what a cuppa tea and slice of cake does for delivery drivers! Would recommend these robes to anybody looking for a stylish modern product!!
