"Poor product and service"
Same experience as others here - poor quality product needing to be replaced multiple times. IKEA build quality better. Aggressive and rude delivery service. Longer than advertised lead times for product delivery. Great disappointment for the considerable price. Cannot recommend this company or its goods to anyone.

"Quality Control is an alien concept!"
Having purchased four items of Kingstown bedroom furniture through Furniture Village, we eventually received our delivery after eight and a half weeks from placing order, We had been assured that seven weeks would be a worst case scenario. On close inspection of our furniture, all four items were found to be defective - wardrobe had chipped veneer on floor, chest of drawers had irregular gaps between drawers and wrong feet, one bedside unit had incorrect drawer handles and second bedside unit had blobs of glue on top surface. Furniture Village tried unsuccessfully over a number of days to get a date when Kingstown could replace these items and when I refused to accept 'as soon as we can' as a response, Furniture Village provided a full refund and collected the defective items. Any manufacturer that achieves a 100% defective units on four items of furniture clearly has poor to non-existant quality control. Buyer beware if considering Kingstown products.

"Worst Customer Service!!"
Furniture ordered through Very. 3 of the 4 items delivered, quality not great. Last chest of drawers was "damaged" pre delivery. Had the delivery rescheduled after I called them, no effort made on there part. Called on the rearranged delivery date, was told the item "didn't make it onto the truck".
After numerous phonecalls to and from, and promised returned calls that never happened, turns out they didnt even send it for reproduction, so am once again looking at 2 weeks delivery schedule!
WORST SERVICE EVER. WOULD NOT REUSE EVER AGAIN.

"Poor customer services and really poor products"
I had ordered bedroom furniture off my very account, and Kingstown Hull are the suppliers of this bedroom furniture. I had my furniture delivered back in April 2016. Since then I've called up numerous times to complain about the quality of the product and they have offered each time to exchange them, I've had 6 exchanges of the furniture and it's still really poor quality.
I've been sending emails to Shopdirect, Kingstown and the manager but don't get a reply until a few days later after keeping on to them.
Even though the furniture advertised looks really nice it's just a shame it's not to a high standard considering the amount of for the asking price. I would avoid buying from them, to save you from all the stress and time wasted. Before you commit to buy, have a look at thier website reviews and see from other customers reviews how terrible the quality is, I'm not the only one who's had trouble with these. This is still an on going issue to date.

"Worst online buyingexperience I have ever had..."
Furniture Items ordered through Very, but manufactured I now see by Kingstown, and just to add insult to injury, delivered by Panther Logistics... grrrrrrr.
I could spend an hour summarising this total disaster, but I've had enough so all I can say is avoid this company and especially Panther Logistics, rude, unhelpful, rude unhelpful, rude unhelpful... items not being delivered when stated and basically holding Very to ransom, telling Very when they will decide to deliver, and Kingstown saying they cant get stock to meet the agreed delivery date. The glitzy website and corporate face are just a façade of I suspect a Dell Boy, back street operation, it would be impossible for it to be anything else. I haven't even got or seen the furniture yet, so God forbid what that experience is going to be like. My next port of call is trading standards and to also make formal complaints against the two people I spoke to.
When the furniture turns up I will now be in hospital because of the late delivery, so I have to arrange for someone to wait in for it at more expense to me. Just great, what a total disaster, a farce.

"Awful service and products"
I ordered my furniture from Dreams - if I had've know they outsource to this company I never would have done it.
Latest update: after just a few months one wardrobe door is off it's rollers, a chest drawer is warped and won't close and the mirror is chipping off under the door.
After receiving three broken drawers, the wrong sized handles and a broken wardrobe, I waited 2 months for the replacement to be delivered. The service was just as poor as the first time. It's been two weeks since my replacement drawers were delivered and after opening the drawer for the first time, have found that it won't close again due to a broken back and warped base.
I have called customer service, sent emails and called the store.
Not even so much as an apology - awful customer service and terrible quality products.
This review was rejected by Dreams on their own website, so I'll put it here.
Poor product - extremely poor service
These wardrobes are shallower than most, with concertina doors, making them perfect for smaller bedrooms. The product is a good quality and looks nice. They are however supplied and delivered by Kingstown Furniture and if I had've known this I never would've bought them. After waiting 4 weeks for the wardrobes and matching bedside tables and chests of drawers to be made I was extremely disappointed when they arrived with 3 smashed drawers, the wrong handles (that didn't fit) and the bottom of the wardrobe was split. I have now waited another month to have them replaced and received a letter yesterday saying they'd be delivered next month - that's 3 months to wait for the correct, undamaged furniture and Dreams Customers Services seem to think this is acceptable - I now have to take another day off work to wait in for my furniture. After ordering beds from Dreams I was very happy with the delivery, but for these wardrobes, the delivery is outsourced and the service was appalling to say the least. To be told that they wouldn't fit in the room by the delivery men (after I had measured the space several times before ordering) they finally decided to listen to me and lo and behold there's a good 3cm of space. In reply "oh well that's a first - a woman who can measure!" I know it was in jest but it's highly unprofessional and I was made to feel like a nuisance with the last remark being "well we're just going to have to leave it where it is because I have another job to get to and don't want to be working past 6.30 tonight," leaving me to put the furniture in place myself, then remove all the packaging, wipe all the finger prints off the mirrors and then pay a handyman to come and secure the wardrobes to the wall. I've also been left with big scratches across my brand new tiles where the wardrobes were dragged into place. Hardly the 'white glove' service that was described to me!

"Absolute disgrace"
The furniture was ordered from Dreams, but Kingstown is the real star of this story as Dreams were merely repeating the answers they got from Kingstown.
The worst shopping experience of my life. Here is a not-so-short summary, the days might not be exact but I did my best:
1. Moving into a new house, bought 2 wardrobes for over £2000. Excited!
2. One month passes, a delivery crew arrives. Carrying wardrobes to the 2nd floor turns out to be too much of a hassle. The assembly crew gives an excuse that "the ceiling is too low" where "too low" is 30cm above the wardrobe.
We are then advised that in such cases the customer is required to assemble the top of the wardrobes with BLU-TAK if we still insist on the assembly. We refuse to assemble with blu-tack, the wardrobes never leave the lorry.
3. Same day, call to dreams:
Me: in polite terms "What the ****"?
Dreams: we are on it, investigating
4. After 2 days, call to dreams:
Me: in polite terms "What the ****"?
Dreams: don't worry, Kingstown fault. You will get the wardrobes next Monday
5. Next Monday, call to dreams:
Me: where are my wardrobes?
Dreams: don't worry, Kingstown fault. You will get the wardrobes next Monday
6. Next-next Monday, call to dreams:
Me: where are my wardrobes?
Dreams: don't worry, Kingstown fault. You will get the wardrobes in 1 week
7. One more week passes:
Me in polite terms: here the **** are my wardrobes?
Stephen Gilbert from Dreams: it is highly unusual situation. You will get your wardrobes 2 months after purchasing them, but we will give you ~6% off your purchase cashback.
Me: Oh well, only 2 weeks left, we will wait...
8. 2 months after paying Dreams:
The same Kingstown assembly crew arrives, this time the ceilings are of the right height but their mood is not lifted. While assembling the wardrobes they damage all 8 doors of both wardrobes and for good measure one of them bangs the base of the wardrobe on the ceiling damaging the base and breaking the plasterboard ceiling.
9. Next day, call to Stephen Gilbert:
Me: The crew we asked not to send damaged the wardrobes and broke our ceiling.
Stephen: It's a pity. We will reorder the damaged parts and investigate the damage to the property.
10. Few more days:
Call from Kingstown (the maker of the wardrobes): next Monday we will deliver the damaged parts
Me: What parts exactly?
Kingstown: as ordered, 2 bases
Me: But what was damaged is 1 base and 8 doors
Kingstown: ohhh
11. Few more days:
Emails to Stephen Gilbert: what the *** is going on?
Reply: we reordered the proper items, and the damage to your property is "being looked into"
12. Got a letter from Kingstown, we should get the wardrobes 3.5 months after paying for them. As for the £500 damage to the property... Not a single word.
And that's where the story ends as Kingstown did not bother to reply or call for the last 14 days.
So, 3 months after paying Dreams, our clothes are still in moving boxes, and for the last 3 weeks we also have a broken ceiling.

"What a Cowboy Furniture Company"
I ordered a wardrobe and two chest of drawers from Dreams. Unfortunately Dreams use the above company to my detriment. Kingstown delivered the above to me in May. When the furniture was delivered and installed. The wardrobe was not fitted properly, one of the doors was sticking and the actual wardrobe was put on the base crookedly. I went on holiday and had another date for delivery which was today June 11th. They came and replaced the wardrobe and chest of drawers. The chest of drawers was fine but when I checked the wardrobe the same door was sticking on the new wardrobe and when I mentioned it to the fitters they said they have been told not to alter doors On checking the door again I find the veneer on the bottom of the door is lifting which is probably why the door is sticking. I am paying a lot of money for this furniture from Dreams and expect to get what I pay for. Kingstown furniture is cheap and not very well made. Also when the new fitters dismantled the first wardrobe they found that cardboard had been put under the base of the wardrobe hence the edges of the wardrobe hanging over the side of the base.
