"Avoid this company "
I paid a $1,279 deposit to this company, believing I was hiring a moving company—nowhere did they clearly disclose they were just a broker (Brett was the salesperson). After discovering their real role and requesting a refund, they refused, despite not having provided any actual moving service.
They use misleading sales tactics (they told me they have a truck in the area the same day I requested dropping off a military family’s stuff) , and their online presence is full of fake 5-star reviews to cover up the real ones. (Only people with one review leave the raving comments) If you want the truth, check their Trustpilot page and discussions on Reddit—you’ll see I’m not alone.
Do your research and avoid this company.

"These people freaking suck"
These people freaking suck. Impossible to get a moving date and time. The guy on the phone promised me they’d show up on a specific day and then they no show. Complete disaster. Never ever use these people.

"Unethical Broker Who Failed to Act on My Behalf"
Nationwide Moving Solutions acted as the broker for my move from Arizona to Washington. They quoted me for 1,118 cu ft, but on moving day, the carrier they arranged (American Home Movers) inflated the volume to 1,900 cu ft—a nearly 70% increase—with no measurement, no markings, and no proof. I immediately contacted Paula at Nationwide to dispute the charge and was told they would follow up. They never did, in fact I had to initiate all contact to get any information or updates for the following 2 weeks.
Nationwide claims in their contract that they “act on behalf of the customer in resolving disputes.” This is false. Despite my repeated calls and emails, they did nothing to intervene or advocate for me when the mover refused to verify cubic footage or remeasure.
I ultimately paid $10,104.14, a 64% overcharge beyond my estimate, in violation of federal FMCSA rules (which cap overages on non-binding estimates at 110%). Nationwide failed to protect me as a consumer and instead enabled predatory, dishonest behavior.
I’ve filed complaints with the FMCSA, BBB, FTC, CSI, and state Attorneys General. If you are considering Nationwide as a broker, do not trust them—they will not help you when it matters most.
