"9 days & still can't book a delivery date. Twice they said they would escalate as urgent and phone back, but nothing."

Bought and paid for on Nov 20, website said delivery Dec 4th yet no delivery went into the system. Received texts with links to book delivery but no delivery possible phoned delivery number on 27th, they said someone will phone. No phone call. Phoned back today and they say the same thing. No phone number to call hoover direct. Shambolic company

"Our delivery date given was not even…"

Our delivery date given was not even registered on your system and we had to cancel order and purchase from Currys. Not happy with Hoover Direct and would suggest people stick with other known suppliers. It also took at least a month to get our refund. Not happy at all with Hoover Direct who you would expect to be reputable!

"Shocking service ordered fridge freezer…"

Shocking service ordered fridge freezer never showed up yesterday (Wednesday 20th November ) not even a call to say it wouldn’t be coming just a email saying failed delivery after the allocated time slot had passed as if they had attempted but they had not after speaking to customers service I was told the driver had over ran by 3 hours so clocked of rather than delivering mine now I’m expected to go online and rebook delivery with no slots available til Tuesday nearly a week later surely if you don’t deliver on the stated day then I should be prioritised for the next day considering it’s no fault of my own and the driver just never turned up

"Terrible customer service, selling unavailable items"

I ordered a washing machine directly from the Hoover website on a Friday morning due to mine breaking.
On the following Tuesday we were given a delivery date, which was to be Thursday.
Thursday came and the delivery driver turned up without the washing machine, he didn't seem surprised. He advised us to contact Hoover's customer service.
I contacted the delivery company's customer services who did not know why the item was missing, but some of the possibilities included the item being damaged or not in stock, and they said that it would take up to 24 hours to confirm the reason.
I also filled out a customer service form on the Hoover website which has a response time of up to 24 hours.
I then found a Hoover customer service number to ring, which was very difficult to find, where I was told the only thing to do was fill out the online form and that there was nobody I could speak to directly. The representative also confirmed that the item (which is still being offered for sale on the Hoover site with 3-5 day delivery) may not even be in stock.
I am going to be without a working washing machine for at least a full week, with no real understanding of where the washing machine I have ordered is, or if it even exists. I have been unable to find any information on the Hoover Direct site about refund options if the item I ordered doesn't exist or is never delivered, and can't afford to shell out for 2 washing machines. Absolutely shocking that there's a real possibility that I've been sold (and they are still selling) items that they know aren't available.

"Shocking Order Experience"

What an absolute nightmare to order from.
Delivery date was different to what I was able to book in therefore late so had to move holiday and plumber to cover with less than 1 working days notice.
Appliance then arrived damaged so courier took it back however we were not advised that the waste pipe had been left open so had to get plumber out again and get a part for an interim fix. Same issue again with delivery being a day later than advised.
Phone lines are an absolute jungle with colleagues denying all ownership at every stage and getting me to contact external couriers to get a more accurate ETA.
Some phone colleagues also hanging up the phone when I was trying to escalate to a manager to raise a complaint and even denying they had a manager.
Customer service compensation was issued but nowhere near enough to cover the hassle and they gave me an upgraded model however this was only because they didn't have stock of the original product.
Overall amazed at how bad this experience has been and nearly 3 weeks from order to final delivery for a washing machine with a house containing two kids under 5. Do yourself a favour and go to Currys and get a price match.

"Very poor service and no delivery"

Ordered a wine fridge two weeks ago, failed delivery last Saturday and same thing this week. No explanation and no one to speak to or get any satisfaction from. Very poor service and will be cancelling the order. The delivery company totally useless so would not recommend.
