"the generator is great on sunny days"
the generator is great on sunny days. I would like to suggest without the sun it does not charge, but the wind is lot. why dont yall come up with a wind turbine that will charge the generator. i went three weeks without the sun but the wind was there. And maybe you might want to try to come up with a portable hand generator that will have the ability to charge a car if you have to.

"you tube and 4patriot solar generator WOW !!!!"
If you ever want to find out if these guys are honest?? well look up a you tube video that completely proves that the 4patriot 2500 or so dollar generator is actually worth about 250 or 300 dollars for what it puts out and they compare the wattage, amps, and all the other big words 4 patriot uses. The guy even asked 4 patriot to discuss or challenge or back up their generator. Ofcourse they didn't because they knew their solar generator was completely overpriced by thousands of dollars. Mark up I get but a blatant rip off is non respectable in my world. I am a retired Marine who has been around the block. 4patriots should be ashamed of that generator and if you aren't willing to back up your product when an engineer of sorts breaks that thing down for the common folk? then you sir are a rip off. I love the patriot word that you use for marketing at least have some military folks who can try to keep you honest. I bought their food not bad. Overpriced? hell yes but live and learn. after that you tube video though, I will never buy from a dishonest company like this again. They probably won't even post this. Just be smart out there folks do your homework and then decide how you want to spend your hard earned money. That's all . Be safe out there.

"I bought 40 packs of there survival bars because they sent a email giving a discount and less than 24 hrs later they dropped the price another 2 dollar would have saved 80 and they did nothing"

"My first order was 3 3 month survival…"
My first order was 3 3 month survival foods. Because of the money...almost 1800, I asked for a price break. Instead they removed some of the 'free' items, like the seed packets and fire place. Not only removed, but sent 3 suncookers, which is ok. I would have preferred all the stuff at a reduced price....
Next was power banks. Awesome, charge quickly, great power. Got 4. Got kids...

"QUESTIONABLE"
I'm finding myself in agreement with the other negative reviews here, may I add to that.
When receiving shipments there is no packing invoice, there is nothing to indicate what they shipped you or how many Items are packed into the totes, so who really knows if you're getting what you paid for?
ALSO
It looks like they support China, all the power goods I purchased or were given FREE, are made in China,
Note the word FREE
I got a 40watt solar panel for FREE with the purchase of the "NEW" Patriot Power Sidekick, the FREE 40watt solar panel, it only puts out less than 12 watts and its garbage.
I should have read the return policy's first, but what they indicated, it looks like they recycle defective items that are good condition.

"Long on Substitutes"
First of all, shipping was great, received 4 packages on Fri. the other 3 the following Mon. No complaints there, it's what was IN the shipments that generated a 3 star review. I have enough chocolate Pancake Mix (72 serv) & Bugle Boy Cocoa (70 serv) to feed an army. That's on top of 48 servings of buttermilk pancake mix. (How do you get 8 servings of Banana Chips out of one small package?!) And, I was disappointed there was no Fireside Stew, no Frank's Favorite Alfredo, no Hearty Stroganoff, no Nonna's Best Lasagna or Secret Recipe Spaghetti, and no Star Spangled Tropical Energy Drink. But, they did add 16 servings of Amber Wave 9-grain Cereal, 16 servings of Creamy Herbed Mashed Potatoes and 8 servings of White Queso Pasta which weren't listed. (There was no mention of Scrambled Eggs, which I seen in someone else's review) I'm not saying I was shorted any items, it's just that substitutes such as the Chocolate Pancake Mix and the Bugle Boy Cocoa were a bot excessive. All totaled it comes to 734 servings, which is 46 servings more than advertised.
One last item, only one package of Potato Soup was damaged and made a mess in my tote. A corner came unsealed and left a 1" split. (That's tonights supper) so no loss.

"Did not receive order / No refund"
I placed an order with 4Patriots on 5/18/2022. A week or so after not receiving the package I tracked it and the notation read "Delivered. Left with reception/lobby, mail room" That's odd because the package was to be delivered to my residence, there is no reception/lobby, mail room. I emailed 4Patriots, no response. I pursued the matter with PayPal, my claim was denied because "merchant confirmed that merchandise was delivered." So I'm out the purchase price and the merchandise and have yet to have 4Patriots reply to my emails.

"send the money back within hours"
I requested the money back, due to a product not being of the content as guessed, and they confirmed within minutes and send the money back within hours. Amazing service!

"They charged me $597 for their mistake!"
Like many others this should be 0 stars. I ordered their battery cells and, of course, the next page was an upsell for a 'Survival Food Kit' for $697. I actually am trying to store food but, on a limited income, I can't afford that. When I clicked to the next page an offer came up for $597. I paused and thought about it but went ahead and clicked forward to the cart. Then I thought that maybe I could take some of my savings and they said they would offer a refund if we didn't like it so, still with some hesitancy, I clicked the back button and accepted the offer.
Then, much to my shock and surprise I received emails for 2 food kits at $597! I immediately called and the voicemail said they were closed and they would call back. I left a voicemail telling them what happened and to not process the second order ... that I did not order! I should have paid attention to my first instinct.
I then sent an email and told them what happened. I didn't order 2 and didn't know how that happened and to not charge me for it. I checked my bank account and both had already been 'approved' in my account.
I did not sleep well and logged back into my bank account the next day and it still showed approved in the morning. I then checked my email and found that someone had replied and asked which one I wanted to cancel. I went ahead and told them to cancel both. Since I didn't know how long it would take to get a response I called, held for a while and was given the option of someone calling me back. After a while, someone called and they were very nice and told me they had a glitch that processed 2 sometimes if someone clicked back and he would address it. He also said that it could take some days. I told him that I could not afford to wait, I had bills to pay and he said that he would 'expedite it'.
I then received a confirmation email from them saying that they would refund both and it would take 7-10 days. I checked my bank account again and now both have been removed from my account. I emailed them again and said, "I'm blown away. You've taken almost 1200 out of my account for two orders, one of which was supposedly a computer glitch and the other was canceled. I don't care about the banking timeline. You should have NEVER charged me for 2! This impacts me paying my bills! Shame on you!"
I've still received no reply to that email.
There was no expediting that I can tell.
I am not talking about quality of their product. I don't know. I am talking about their removing money from my account for their glitch and giving no real help to me with that. They should have contacted their banks or refunded it immediately. Earlier the same day, I literally had a restaurant that charge something incorrectly, refunding and charging me the correct amount. They also said they would take care of it but it might show up. Their wrong charge also showed up as 'approved' but the next day when the 4patriots was removed from my account, the correct amount ... without the incorrect charge, was all that was removed by the restaurant. How can they do it and not 4patriots? Especially if they expedite it.
Yes, I'm upset but they did not handle this well.

Thank you for your reply, Kerri. Eight months later.
You still dismiss any responsibility by saying that it, " is dependent on YOUR financial institutions processing time for refunds". So, it's the banks fault. I gave a clear example of the restaurant that I had gone the same day that also, incorrectly charged me, told me that it might take awhile to refund, but after talking to them, it was refunded the same day. Same bank. DATCU is very good and deposits, refunds, etc. always show up the same day.
The restaurant expedited it for me.
If 'you' had expedited it, as you said you would, and reversed the charges DATCU would have refunded it the same day.

"Do I have to give any stars"
Do I have to give any stars? I placed a order and I begin to receive numerous emails for me to buy other products. Their emails made them sound sketchy so i did a real search for complaints against them. BBB has over 200 recent complaints against them. I attempted for over 5 days to get them to cancel, they refused to address my request. Today they replied but stated it was in the process of being shipped and its unlikely that it could be stopped.. They have deliberately ignored my cancellation to buy time for them to ship and tell me its too late. Worst business I have ever dealt with, dishonesty or at best incompetent. Do a BBB search on them and don't believe some of the hype that they have manged to post about themselves on the internet. Its BS.
