4Patriots
Honest review
""Opportunistic", *tac* redux!..."
2016 - 2020 led to a nostalgic, if contrived, wishful period of days gone by. Rekindled memories of when Sears and Roebuck sold (and actually delivered) build your own home kits and Ford was a manufacturing company in the motor city. This was the perfect launch pad era for companies like 4Patriots. Much like corporate america, they saw advantage in demographic marketing to a long sleeping surplus of a capped off pipeline of revenue. Needless to say, there is no ethical value added in purchasing domestically if you are grossly overcharged for doing so, paying almost double the shipping cost so that THEY maintain THEIR profit margins and then being made to suffer their sympathies for having to wait ever so patiently for them to eventually ship your product/s. Folks!... Fellow countrymen!... Don't get absorbed into the company pitch that 4Patriots advertises. Do your research, find and purchase whatever it is that you're looking for with the expectation that you will receive it and let go of places like this that empower themselves in your yearning for yesteryear!... That is called "Predatory advertising"!

"Do Your Due Diligence Before Purchasing"
Decided to make a purchase from 4patriots 3 month food supply #1. 3 week wait time took over a month. 2, they over sell without having the product on hand. 3, Bombard you with unsolicited emails. 4, customer service responds with computer emails that don't have anything to do with your order. 5, damaged items in order. 6, Incomplete order, customer service doesn't respond to missing items they just send computer generated I'm sorry emails and not address what's actually missing. Playing off the patriot theme do you due diligence before placing order.

"I have ordered from this company…"
I have ordered from this company several times and different products. So far the 3 month kit, the emergency food bars, the Power Greens and personal blenders. I have had various “free” gifts included with each order and have always received what they promised as the “free” gifts. The products that were supposed to come for the most part were what was advertised. The 3 month kit however had substitutions that resulted in missing servings. It took a bit and a subsequent order before it finally got resolved and in the subsequent order I made a mistake and hit the submit order button a second time after not getting an order confirmation page. This resulted in a duplicate order that I could not in fact afford at the time. The order was cancelled immediately yet the cancellation went to the wrong warehouse so the order was bundled and shipped together at which eventually it was intercepted but resulted in my receiving 2 blue labeled tubs and the 2 red labeled tubs were the ones intercepted. So they allowed me to swap out the missing items from my first order from the duplicate blue label tub before returning it. I did receive the red label tub yesterday and today received the email stating the refund is finally being processed. The original order date was 7/28 so this has happened relatively quickly in that the intercepted order, returns and replacements have all occurred in less than a month. Now I still have to wait up to 10 business days additionally to see the refund in our bank account and they were unable to apply the refund of that payment to the remaining payments for the current order but hopefully it will be there by the time the next payment is due. I have sampled some of the products and so far the oatmeal, mac and cheese and beef stroganoff were very good and my family could not tell it was “survival” food. I did add a package of hamburger to the beef stroganoff as it would have been vegetarian if I did not. The creamy rice vegetable dinner, was better as a soup as the freeze dried peas in it need much longer to cook and much more liquid than packaged directions to make them palatable. The dinner itself is very tasty and creamy and perhaps just pushing the peas aside would work as well but it is good as a soup as well with the peas softened properly. The peas were the only off putting thing I have tasted so far. Still many dishes to prepare but am more confident that they will be good when we need them. I did purchase them for the 25 yr shelf life for future preparation for times like we saw with Covid where things got scarce for a bit. The “free” gifts like the 72 hr kits gave me the opportunity to try some of the products without disturbing my 3 month supply and swap out a few items to try later as well. I can’t say I am a fan of the greens. I know they are supposed to be good for me and a good way to get my greens in however, I have not been able to make them taste good yet. I have yet to try the blenders but had planned on giving my kids gifts at Christmas including them.

"Lots of frustration here."
Lots of frustration in trying to communicate with their "Customer Service". Response to emails is extremely problematic and attempting to reach them by phone results in hold times exceeding 50 minutes, usually resulting in abandoning the call- despite calling at various times. I have tried to use their email and the response was days later and when I did hear back - the response had nothing to do with my original email. Very frustrating.
