"Horrible customer service once contact is signed"
Horrible customer service once you make it past the sale department and sign your contract. I am trying to sell my home and need information on how to transfer the warranty. I have been calling for weeks with no answer back. The only phone line that has anyone answering is their sales department, who always promise to send ur request thru to the proper people, but still no call. Not even asking for them to honor their warranty or contract, just wanna transfer it when my home sells. My system was installed in 2020 and to date I have not been able to reach anyone in customer service.

I have had problems with green solar technology fot over 16 months now. 14 panels have been down and they do nothing but lie and promise to repair. I want to sue them. Lets sue these scammers and get our money back. I am paying more then double on my light now. All they do is lie

"Find a Solar Installer, not a Solar Broker"
Green Solar Technologies is not a Solar Installer. I would call them more of a Solar Broker. They put a very large margin on the sale solar, and I do not feel I got the value in return.
My system cost $75k, and my installer said he could have done it for $50k. Now this does mean I would have needed to be more involved through out the process to get it done.
Here is a rough timeline of the process
February 2022 - Sales Pitch
March 2022 - Signed Contract
May 2022 - Permits Submitted
June 2022 - Permits Approved
October 2022 - Panels Delivered
November 2022 - Panels Installed
January 2023 - Permission to Operate
February 2023 - Still awaiting information to setup SRECS in PA
Main Reasons for the bad review:
- Project Managers are very slow to respond (longest was 2.5 weeks)
- My Project Manager quit and took them a month to get me a new one. Never told me until the new called me. Even after I called, texted, and emailed multiple departments and people.
- My inverter is undersized for total panels. Peak performance is 15.12 kWh and they installed a 11.4 kWh. I did agree to the plans but I wasn't the wiser. Basically paid for 10 more panels than needed
- All the departments are bad to get back to you, and they treat you like you do not have common sense
- Had to get layout adjusted multiple times, because the installer stated to them that it wouldn't work. Which it would not work. They still sent in the wrong plans to the county for the permit.
- Payments to others were delayed, or not paid, and created more delay
- No sense of urgency

This company installed panels on my home when I Inquired about the warranty given the run around. Supervisors are the worst I have ever had to deal with. If you're thinking of solar it is not worth the money in the long term.

My system has been down not working at all for 19 months out of 23 and counting. Do not expect service after the sell folks. Now they won't answer my calls or return my calls. I'm filing papers on them next week. So sad they have no companies in pa. That will even service their systems, they refuse to work for them. So here's what you get. Terrible company. Save your sanity and $$$ don't buy a system from them . Period

This is absolute the most incompetent company I have ever dealt with. They do not care about you after they get their money.
I purchased solar panel in 2019. They worked until August of 2020. They didn't get fixed until March of 2021 after I threatened to sue them.
They broke again on October 3 2021. They are STILL broken. I had to threaten to sue them to get anyone to look at them, but they never got them fixed. They keep saying there are different problems and don't know what they are talking about.
They tried to blame the problem on the whole house generator that was installed 3 years prior to the panels being installed.
They are enough to drive you insane especially when you are already in bad health.
I even sent a letter to the owner and still nothing was done.
I finally paid $150.00 filing fee to sue them myself and $175.00 to have them served. That was mid August and the panels are still broken. October 3 will be a year that they have not been working. I've spent over 10K out of pocket between the payments and power bills while they have been broken.
Three days after they were served, the first person I dealt with called and told me to give them a few days and I never heard from them again.
I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.
Save your sanity and your money and stay away from Green Solar Technologies.

Horrible customer services!!! I would give a ZERO star if there's an option. I can't emphasize how horrible the customer services are!
Initial installation was ok. Shortly after that, we had some baseball size hails on May 17th 2021. Sure all the panels along with my roof were damaged. We get our quotes for both roof replacement and the solar panels as soon as it should be like. The brand new roof was replaced in 2~3 weeks, then we ordered total 25 of new panels for replacing.
Our nightmare starts after the panels arrival. They couldn't be able to install the panels until July 25th, 2021. And they left the broken ones those were suppose to get disposed on my side yard for another THREE MONTHS. The area where they left the panels on were killed with a bold spot.
In matter of time afterwards, we discovered that our new roof was leaking and the ceiling drywall was wet in our laundry room and master bathroom. After some investigation, we found 2 spots of mis-drilled holes that were caused leaking. We understand mistakes happed. We also saw the evidence that they were trying to caulking it, but it leaked though. Sealant went though. We contacted Greensolar and state our issues. We asked them to fix the holes that on the brand new roof. Long story short, the first phone call was made in forth quarter of 2021. Now we are in September of 2022, and the issues with the leaks are still here DID NOT get solved yet!
My direct contact customer agent Diana was nice till this became a long last issues. Same as the customer service manager. I don't remember her name. They started NOT answering phone calls, reply messages or NO call back after left multiple voicemails.
Last contact I made was on Monday August 29th, 2022 to the customer service manager with leaving a voicemail, customer agent Diana and the customer service department. Today is Sep. 2nd, 2022, and for sure I didn't hear anything back from them, which I am NOT SURPRISED at all. Because this is what they do the best! Leave customer along with a leaking roof. Or maybe they think the issues will be fixed somehow by itself!
I am VERY VERY disappointed at this company. I will NOT recommended this company to any of my family or friends to let them experience the same nightmare that I am having right now!
P.S. what is the best now is I can't post my 1 star review on their website for some reason. SMH
