Hello,

Wanted to take a moment and say thank you for the opportunity to leave feedback. I wanted to say that I’ve had the Compustar alarm and remote start installed for a few weeks now and I couldn’t be any happier with the product or the superb service I received from the Car Toys team in Park Meadows, Colorado. Compustar hit a home run with the PRO R5 remote. One button keeps it super simple and reliable. The thing I am most impressed with is the ability to customize or update over time because the alarm system is completely modular. I’m a huge fan of Compustar and will recommend them to friends and family every chance I get. Thank you

Great aftermarket system for FCA vehicles!

Adds another layer of security to prevent theft, and reduces the use of the oem key fob greatly.

"T13/drone stopped working in 5 days"

T13 with drone stopped working just 5 days after installation by a PRO dealer. Compustar Tech support couldn't reset it remotely so I had to take the car back to the installer to get it fixed and reprogrammed, I was without a car for a day while they fixed it. I hope this is a one-off issue and not an indication of a poor quality product.

"Made the best choice for a remote starter."

Used a great installer, JDK Auto Sound and Security. Very clean and tight integration. The DRON Remote APP is very responsive, within a couple of seconds. The only issue I see is my temperature sensor registers higher than expected by about 6 degrees. This will effect the rear defroster from activating when it’s 32 degrees. Expect John of JDK to sort it out soon.

"Unit works fine but does not have…"

Unit works fine but does not have “Secure Start Takeover” capability and he engine shuts off when the door is opened. Engine has to be restarted.

I think I understand why it is this way and only wish I had been informed of this situation before I agreed to have the unit installed. I only found out about it the first time I tried it.

I've been a CompuStar equipment owner/user for approximately three months. I purchased and had a DC3 remote-start system installed in February of 2022. In the following three months, I've had an X1 LTE module installed, along with an ALARM-IT kit and upgraded the two-way remote to a model T9. The company behind CompuStar, FirsTech, LLC, is a first-class company putting the right resources into design and manufacturing ensuring value and satisfactory outcomes for their customer base. I am ultra-satisfied with my remote start/security system! It is SUCH a pleasing experience to be able to walk out to my 1999 Chevy Suburban and it is not sweltering hot upon entry due to climate control enabled by my CompuStar remote-start system. I can check vehicle battery voltage and interior temperature from my phone or my fob - let alone start/stop the engine and lock/unlock the doors. CompuStar are the go-to guys for remote-start systems and accessories. Highly recommended manufacturer making highly recommended, top-of-the-line equipment.

"Not bad but I don't like that if I just…"

Not bad but I don't like that if I just lock the doors (with my car key)the alarm comes on even though I do not turn it on with the fob is on...it will drain my car battery in less that a week...that is with a brand new battery.. the alarm costing $1000 also hurt

"Website is horrible and my unit stopped…"

Website is horrible and my unit stopped working at the 13th month mark. Haven't used it in months. Was very expensive to just crap out. Warranty is supposedly 1 year. Huge bummer.
