"AVOID - if you need to make and receive calls!"
I checked the service in my area prior to joining and was assured of good network coverage - yet have no signal at home (I live in central London not the outer Hebrides).
They restrict services so won't even permit call diverts (so I am unreachable and unable to make calls).
This means I can't comment on other users reports that the customer service number is impossible to reach..
ZERO stars.

"Great company helpful support"
Great company, easy to order and quick for the sim to arrive. Support were really helpful and easy to contact when I realised that my first order had too little data for my needs, the sim was deactivated and I was refunded so I could then order the one I needed.

The best I was looking for unlimited calls and text for 6 pound using EE.

"Great underlying network, flawed customer service"
Updated 3rd December, back to 2 stars from 4:
Needless to say adding the Black Friday boost would result in me losing money I had already spent and the lack of customer service in these situations (the Ai bot can’t answer the query and the phone just rings out), meant I went with my gut and left.
I stand by my original review, great value way to access an excellent network assuming you never need help or have a query.
Updated 22nd November from 2 stars to 4:
The Black Friday deal has now been added in my account so I can self serve and change my “Boost”, although I’m not sure I will get any money back on the original “Boost”.
Network service when commuting into London was much better than my previous Voxi SIM, so whilst I am still wary of the customer service (there isn’t any), I’m going to stick with it for now.

Original review below…
1p network runs on EE which is fast and reliable without the added drama, price inflation and long contracts when dealing with them directly.
This is the positive.
Sadly, having only joined 10 days ago I have today requested a PAC code to leave.
They have just released their Black Friday deals which doubles the available data on the £10 plan I signed up to from 25GB to 50GB.
No problem I thought, I will just ask to switch.
The “computer says no” response to me asking to switch to this new version of the plan, considering as I was still in my first 14 days, was exceptionally frustrating.
I mean, I could swap, but they cannot internally number port, so I would have to lose my number of 20 years. Alternatively, I could port out and back in again!
For a purported “contract free, super flexible, change anytime” MVNO, the first time I test it, the reality is, it isn’t.
Can’t fault the underlying network, the initial port in or speed of SIM delivery, but the concept of simple, fair, sensible, good old fashioned customer service wasn’t available so 1p falls at the first hurdle for me.
Shame, I was going to move another 3 SIMs to them for the rest of the family and now they have none of our money.

"Lebara to 1pMobile"
I moved from Lebara to 1pMobile as the data speed was awful. I could not watch a video clip without it glitching. I also could not get a 5G connection.
Now my only problem is the speed I am going through my data allowance. It looks easy enough to upgrade from 10GB to 25GB for only £2 a month extra. So far so good 👍

"ONE YEAR FLEXI is not flexi and will actually cost you £60"
I bought a ONE YEAR FLEXI "£40 to use over 365 days, No need to top-up for a whole year", and then they "change the terms" demanding now I also top-up £10 every 2 months, i.e. I bought a year, then they cut it to 8 months, even though I barely use the phone.

"They offer great tarriffs "
They offer great tarriffs , a great network that runs on ee and 1p give you 5g network where as ee themselves n pay and go don't so that is something to remember , a good network if your a very low user as well as a everyday user with a large range of tarriffs including data, I have used 1p mobile for 3 years now and had 100% excellent connection and 5g reception , if been picky I would like to see them do an esim now
