I dealt with their St Albans branch. We rented one of the properties they advertised. We occupied the property for 3 years, had a good relationship with landlord, but notice was sent due to few issues. When tenancy ended, we had been chasing for the house deposit but our request was ignored. All issues were settled with landlord since February 26 2025 and Stephen Maylon only released the deposit March 28 2025. He is very poor in communication and not replying to emails. He only released the deposit when I called their office and asked for the email to where to send my complaint to, as it is not indicated on their website.

"NO REGARD FOR PEOPLES TIME"
Made an appointment for rental and 35 minutes before the appointment was told that they had taken a deposit and that they were cancelling the appointment. Complete disregard for anyone's time energy to get to the appointment. Was given a poor excuse when I said why could they not have waited 1 hour to show us the property saying the landlord what not so keen as we had dogs. This was disclosed at the point of booking so why take the appointment in the first place. Needless to say with people who have such poor regard for others WONT be using them again. Vote with your feet so people change their work ethics.

Since our initial meeting it was clear that Duncan and C&T were different to other agents we’d spoken to, he was genuine, knowledgable, and never pushy. While marketing our house Duncan was professional and friendly with great communication, he’s been an absolute pleasure to deal with, as was Hannah.
We did take our house off the market, as we realised the time wasn’t right for us. However, when we are ready to sell, we won’t hesitate to contact Duncan at Cassidy & Tate again.

Great service. Nick was our main contact, always friendly and ready to help or advise. Kris did a lot as well, including showing round the final buyers. Very impressed by the whole team, particularly in communication, if I had to leave a message with a team member or on the phone I would get a call back really promptly. The market was slow for this type of property (retirement flat) and we had a couple of disappointments when buyers had to pull out through ill health. Nick's support and advice was invaluable.
