"Amazing Customer Service & Treatment "

I have been with TMHC now for 1 year and can honestly say it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made. Transferred treatment over to these guys as I was starting to feel like a cash cow to another company, less about what was right for me and more about what they could sell me. Here Dr Steven’s only provides a Gold standard treatment which is tailored to what my body needs to bring me to healthy levels. I cannot recommend him or his team enough. Great Service as always, thank you.

Positives:
The clinic has a friendly and polite atmosphere. The reception staff are very nice, and the clinic itself is clean, modern, and welcoming.

They stock and provide treatments like testosterone cypionate, HCG, and other necessary medications. Blood draws can be done in-house during visits, and they also offer a blood test package where you can arrange for a nurse visit (at an extra cost) if that’s more convenient.

They have a private Facebook group. The doctor regularly creates social media content, which can be quite helpful. The clinic can also request shared care with GPs—some will agree, while others may not.

Overall, the clinic sets a great example in the TRT space.

Dislikes:
These are more about the TRT industry than the clinic itself but some apply, especially if you’re dealing with a complex case.

As many know, NHS support for TRT in UK is often inadequate. Although I needed TRT, it’s easy to overlook the lifelong commitment and how quickly costs can add up in the private sector. It wasn’t really explained to me just how expensive things could get if treatment didn’t go exactly as planned. Side effects like increased estrogen or elevated blood counts (like HCT) can happen, and not everyone reacts well to HCG. Each change in protocol requires repeat blood tests, which are essential but costly since the clinic doesn’t take chances. If estrogen levels increase, for example, you’ll need an inhibitor, which then requires more blood tests.

If you require a lot of assistance, phone appointments are an additional cost, although this applies to any private clinic, not just this one.

I believe the clinic does find it difficult to deal with more complex cases sometimes. When you’re struggling you really need that feeling that they have your back and your corner and reassurance, again I am sure this is something across the industry.

Regarding shared care, while the clinic requests it, they don’t consistently relay updates to the GP, which means you’re often left to explain everything to your GP and hope they understand and help

Final Thoughts:
Be sure you fully understand what you’re committing to before starting treatment and that you have tried to improve all areas of lifestyle before starting.

These guys are the best in the business! They are ahead of the curve when it comes to healthy male hormone levels. Extremely professional and welcoming. When dealing with Dr Stevens specifically, you will get told like it is- no sugar coating, tough love BUT also understanding your situation and support you through your journey. You get told what you need not necessarily what you want to hear!

The whole team are really friendly and helpful. I can’t recommend a better male clinic, this is like being part of a massive family. Everyone has your best interest at heart.

I was finally diagnosed with low testosterone levels in 2016, after years of requesting to be screened for it. Dr Stevens and the entire team at The Men’s Health Clinic diagnosed the underlying reason for my symptoms of fatigue, low libido/drive and mood
swings. Whilst my normal GP told me my blood results were “normal
and within range” they were far from optimal. Simply put, over the past 3 years, this team gave me my life back. At 51, i’m stronger, fitter and healthier than i’ve ever been. Also, Dr Stevens will hold you to account in his own, very direct way if you think TRT is the magic bullet. On the routine checkups, if you’ve not been exercising and following a good diet, be prepared to strap in and listen to his famous “earn your reward” lecture. Lydia and the entire ops team are very accomodating. It’s a busy practice and that comes with challenges. Be respectful to them and they will move mountains for you.
