"Appalling covid testing service"

Had the most horrendously stressful experience with Source BioScience. Would not recommend for anyone wishing to leave quarantine on time.

After reading so many bad reviews on other COVID test providers, I came across the Source BioScience website and decided to risk it and buy a Day 2 test, even though there were only 3 reviews about them.
I had one small problem with my requested shipping date but that was resolved the day that I reported it and it still arrived on time. Also, the results came back really quickly. So, if you need to purchase any kind of COVID test, I recommend Source BioScience.

"Fixed issues"

Source bioscience managed not to pay sufficient postage on the packages they sent, which ended up getting stuck at the post office - however, they resolved things really quickly, and shipped us new tests, which got here on the right day.

Pros: resolved things very quickly, got an excellent response to contacting them
Cons: would have been nice if it had just worked

Please USE these guys. Sent the test speedily and before the bank holiday, great step by step instructions and then I was able to take the test into the lab at 11am and had results that evening.

I used Source BioScience to book day 2/8 and early release tests for my mom, who came to visit me from Poland after I’ve had a baby. The tests were reasonably priced and the customer service over email was excellent. When filling in the Passenger Locator Form, my mom couldn’t find the right test reference number which prevented her from completing the form. We panicked as we could only find an email address to contact Source BioScience and I thought we would never hear back from them in time. An automated response told us that they would get back within an hour, which I definitely didn’t believe. But sure enough we had a very helpful response within 20 minutes and the issue was sorted. The day 2/8 tests arrived two days after booking, before my mom even arrived. Instructions were easy to follow, and results were back quickly (within 24 hours of mailing).

I would have given 5* but the only issue was that the early release test didn’t actually arrive. After contacting the company about it, it seems that it was somehow lost. We were offered to have the test mailed again or full refund. We opted for the latter since the test results wouldn’t have arrived in time to make it worth while, we and received a refund without any problems. Again customer service was great and communication via email very easy with very quick responses.

I should add that I had previously booked day 2/8 test for my dad from another company, which was atrocious. His day 2 results were delayed, and his day 8 results never actually arrived, leaving him to quarantine 3 extra days while they claimed to be chasing the results, and then leaving us scrambling for other options when they stopped answering emails or phone calls. That company was also quite a bit more expensive.

Based on my experience with two companies now, I would definitely recommend Source BioScience, and will definitely use them again if I ever need to.

I used Source Bioscience for the first after travelling back to the Uk from Barbados .As per protocol for C.19 quarantine. i opted for the 2 test kits day 2 and 8. which i also found the price reasonable . big thank you to Emma and the rest of the staff. Pretty much flawless. A real, high quality, genuinely relaible service. Good value, but not so much that they in fact don't do what they say they will. Delivery on time. Everything very well done and organised. Highly recommended.

Thank you Bioscience team!!!!! I’d like to share my experience with this company, I recently bought covid tests from them, which I believed were for day2&8, but it appeared I made a mistake when I tried to enter ID in my passenger locator form, so i needed to book another tests urgently, apart from the stress it cost me more money.I wrote them on my arrival and they assured me that they’ll refund me when I return the unused tests, and they indeed did so, so I’ m immensely grateful to them, they are absolutely reliable,respectful and supportive, they responded to all my emails and reassured me everything will be ok, I’m really grateful and can only say a big Thank you, Lilyana Markova
